This was one of the worst experiences with a doctor in my life. I went to Dr. Blanchar because my previous doctor was making me wait an hour every visit even with an appointment. I saw the good reviews on here and was excited to find Bayview. The purpose of my office visit was to continue my prescriptions and to obtain some annual bloodwork. The prescription to be continued was dextro-amphetamine, but the doctor wrote "Adderall" on the slip. I asked him if he could write "dextro-amphetamine" since its a different drug, but he said they are interchangeable (they are not, and Adderall requites a prior-authorization). Adderall is the brand name for a combination of dextro-amphetamine and levo-amphetamine. Dextro-amphetamine is just that - 100% dextro-amphetamine, with the common brand name "Dextrostat." The doctor ended up writing the d-amphetamine script, but was furious and walked out of the room to complain to the female receptionist/nurse while I could overhear them. He then left the area while the receptionist/nurse gave me one of those huge smiles that implies "you are a piece of crap." I paid $120 and didnt even get to have my bloodwork done because the doctor left in a fit of rage. I was partially robbed of my money. Just to confirm that Im not crazy, I went to my local pharmacy and spoke to the head pharmacist. I explained everything about the mix-up and he said that I was correct. He asked who the doctor was and I said "Dr. Blanchar," and the pharmacist knew him by name and said that its not the first time someone complained about him. Its pretty bad when a doctor has a tainted name with a local pharmacist. I mean, pharmacists jobs arent even to receive complaints. Overall I was humiliated even though I was correct, given attitude, and was partially robbed of my office visit $120 because I was, in-essence, kicked out of the office without getting my blood work.

I cant describe how challenging it was finding a doctor that fit my needs. Doctor Blanchar was a referred physician from a close friend that still uses him as his primary doctor. He just as I, truly value a doctor with confidence, patience and the ability to view and identify concerns from the vantage point of the client. I think all doctors should have some or of training in the botox/enhancement niche, just because it seems to give Dr. B another skill set complementing that of a general medicine physician. I would recommend this company.

Give them a call for any health question you will not be disappointed.

The staff, as well as Dr Blanchar, couldnt have been more responsive and compassionate. Having a medical issue while on vacation is stressful enough and finding their office was certainly my fortune. Only regret is that I should have posted my accolades much sooner!
