I wish there was an option to give zero stars. What a nightmare I have had to endure dealing with this office. Where to start... I recently acquired insurance and elected Dr. Jennifer Capezzuti as my PCP and scheduled a visit. The nurse took my weight and blood pressure, the doctor did nothing but agreed to give me a referral to an OBGYN as per my request. I was surprised when my bill arrived, denied by the insurance, and for an unusually high amount - well after doing some research I discovered the doctor "decided" to charge me for a pregnancy care visit instead of preventative care (a physical) - hence my insurance not covering it. Well as you can imagine I was upset to find out I was being improperly billed and made the effort to call and fix this problem with the office. The secretary was extremely rude, refused to let me speak to my doctor, and told me she would leave a message, but "just so I know, the doctor would not be calling me back and I would have to make an appointment if I wanted speak with her." I asked to speak with the office manager who apparently does not work in the office. After two weeks of calling and messages, the office manager made no attempt to contact me back or show any concern in helping to fix this billing problem. I was then told the only person able to change the reference code was the doctor, so I called the billing company and filed an appeal... thinking this would be a simple fix considering there was nothing about my visit that was "pregnancy care" and it hardly counted as a physical (which is what I should have been billed for). This appeal was denied and I was told I was still responsible for paying the bill. In my opinion, based on my situation and circumstances, Dr. Capezzuti has billed me with the malicious intent to collect as much money as she can with zero regard for the system incriminating malpractice and insurance fraud. I would avoid using this office and doctor at all costs. It is clear her practice is a scheme to make money and there is no real genuine concern for the patients. Her inability to speak with me (a patient should be able to speak to their doctor), the absence of a proactive office manager (if there even is one), and complete disregard for anything other than collecting on bills that have been improperly written by herself have now left me having no other option than to pursue legal action. Save yourselves and go elsewhere.

Pot calling the kettle black, are we fans? This is a place to review the doctor not those posting their experiences. So if the some of the rave reviews are rude, what more can I say? I used Dr. Capezzuti from 2010-2012 as our familys primary care physician and my OB. I cannot complain about the office in terms of logistics. I was able to make appointments with ease and was always seen in a timely manner. However, my first visit was less than stellar and I let the office know. I left feeling very unsettled, but decided to give it another go because anyone can have an off day. At my next appointment I was treated like a queen and received an apology, in fact I sent my husband and son for checkups. At subsequent visits, my experience was regular, not good or bad. After his checkup, my 20 something son had to return for a series of preventative shots and had many issues being able to get the second and third...in fact he never did, because every time he took off work and went to get them he was unsuccessful even though he had been told to come in. Finally he asked if he could get another primary care doctor. Following this was my LAST visit, where I was treated rudely and unprofessional, similar to my first experience. There were no any raised voices, but snippety remarks and rolling eyes, left me feeling belittled. When I asked questions, my questions were turned around on me and suddenly the conversation became about the practice and her…unprofessional. My replies were put to question as if they were lies…unprofessional. I was so shaken I forgot that I had also come for my flu shot and to get my prescription refilled. I actually had to walk back in the office and ask for them, which I did. Thats when I started to get some attitude from the front desk as the doctor relayed her messages instead of just talking to me directly. I knew that would be my LAST visit, my son and husband agreed.

Let me just say that I have been looking for a primary care doctor for a very long time. I was excited when I read so many positive reviews on HealthGrades and ZocDoc. I thought the receptionist and the doctors assistant were sweethearts, I loved them. But the doctor herself was very unprofessional. She was wearing a ridiculously short dress and she was showing SO much cleavage that I could actually see her bra. She also wasnt very knowledgeable at all about numerous (simple) things I asked her about. For example, Ive been having pain in the ankle region for a few months. When I told her about it she was like "whoa, I dont know anything about that, I dont even think a podiatrist can help you"----- WHAT?! It was pretty embarrassing how little knowledge she had when it came to anything besides the basic vital tests. Very disappointed! I will not be going back, and I will most definitely not be recommending her to anyone!

I went to see Dr. Capezzuti for a preventative care visit. I wanted to talk about Cholesterol Screening, Blood Pressure Screening, Diabetes Screening, Diet Counseling and Obesity Screening and Counseling. All of which were covered by my health plan. Dr. Capezzuti refused and told me that anything other than a basic physical would be charged for and I would have to pay since my HMO2750 plan was the worst plan available. She was extremely arrogant, unprofessional and "Hated being a doctor". Her words not mine. I did not read these reviews before I made my appointment with her and probably would have given her a chance anyway. My experience with her was remarkably similar to what many of the others have written here.

Would never recommend. The front office staff member, Chakka Cooper was horrible, behaved extremely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. She was more interested in talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone than greeting, and meeting patient needs. Do not be fooled by a "women" doctor, this doctor and her staff are all about the bottom line...Dr. Capezzuti seemed bothered by my visit. On recommendation I came to her for professional advice, she seemed rushed, in a hurry, and complained about all her responsibilities. ...Find another doctor, this one and her staff have obviously forgotten their Hippocratic Oath and do not respect their patients. In my opinion Dr. Capezzuti and her staff are not worth your time!
