Dr. Amin has by far exceeded my expectations with my pain management care. When I moved to South FL 3 years ago, I was worried I would be unable to find a doctor that provided me with the quality of care I received in Northern VA. Dr. Amin calmed those worries. We have a treatment plan that suits my needs. Although pain will forever be a part of my life, Dr. Amin is working for me and, most importantly, with me, to ensure I am comfortable and we take the best approach to my care should my pain change. His multifaceted approach with massage therapy, epidural and Facet injections, and medication management has been the best route for me currently. He is also working with breakthrough technology and not opposed to trying the latest and greatest treatment options out there. I am currently waiting for my spinal cord stimulation trial and should all go well, will receive the SCS implant for reduction in pain and hopefully a reduction in my dependence on opioids. If you are looking for a pain treatment physician that is knowledgeable about the complexities of the spine, will be honest with you regarding your treatment, and work with you to give you a better chance at living a life with a reduction in pain...see Dr. Amin. It was and still is the best medical decision I have made to date.

I was fortunate to get a referral to Dr Tom Macek recently from my long time friend And orthopedic knee surgeon Dr. Daniel Kanell in Fort Lauderdale. I have been his friend and patient for over 35 years. I called him 2 weeks ago to ask his advice about who I should see for a spinal injection and he recommended Dr. Tom Macek with American Pain Experts in Oakland Park Florida. I went to meet Dr. Macek two weeks ago and he spent almost an hour with me going over my history and reviewing my MRI reports. I was so impressed with my initial visit. Not only did he give me his complete attention that day but as well was so very kind as well. I have better een a dentist for 40 years so I know how to recognize a doctor that is doing his best to be a great doctor! I saw Dr. Macek today to have the procedure done. His staff was so nice from the minute I walked in the office. The injections were almost painless as he promised. When he was finished he even took time to review the images he took while he was doing the procedure! So I could understand what he did. His assistant that was doing the fluoroscopy was also excellent. I couldnt have more impressed with the whole experience

My interactions with Dr. Amin, his staff and his practice has been a series of very negative experiences I would by no means recommend him to anyone. His facilities are modern, clean and immaculate but you enter a packed waiting room with the television blaring with annoying talk shows. A waiting room should be as peaceful as possible , but in this situation the waiting patients were uncomfortable and verbally express their discomfort The front desk staff is unfriendly to the point of rudeness. Several members of the staff have expressed the sense they are overworked . As far as medical treatment, dr Amin and his physicians assistant dont listen when you speak to them, their eyes wandering to other places and repeating the same questions The course of treatment consists on giving shots , and taking your money. And worse of all, I called his office two times and wrote emails that I had very bad side effects from a series of shots. It was unconscionable that my calls for help were ignored. For me, my visits were unpleasant and a waste of time

I cant praise Dr. Amin and his entire staff in this review enough to do them justice! Dr. Amin is a caring, compassionate physician who has been able to help me with severe arthritis when Orthopedic surgeons and a Rheumatologist were all telling me surgery was my only option. I am a Nurse Supervisor in a busy medical practice myself so I have some idea what it takes to make patients comfortable and welcome. Dr. Amin uses the latest technology, with his treatment options I have avoided surgery and feel better than I have in years. His front and clinical staff are always friendly and make me feel welcome. To top it all off the massage therapist Bill is terrific!

Ive been Dr. Amins patient for over 2 years. He has been able to relieve my pain to a manageable level without surgery. Before him, I had been to over 10 different doctors of all types over 7 years with NO RELIEF. I have recommended him to my friends, and suggest anyone with any pain that has not been relieved by another provider, call NOW. His staff and massage therapists (Bill and Saul) are the best, too! I live in 2 different places and fly here each month for his treatment instead of trying to find another provider at my second home. Its worth the time, effort AND cost, because of the relief Ive received from his treatment.

patient R. Rich: I have been seeing Dr. Amin for 3 years now for chronic back pain. He is caring and professional. During procedures he is always checking on me and how Im doing. He explains everything, is quick and has an organized plan for me. The office staff of many is hard working and very friendly. Prior to seeing Dr. Amin my back pain had control of my life. Now the pain is managed in a way that I have my life back. I have referred patients to Dr. Amin and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Amin and his staff for pain management.

As a new patient of Dr. Amins, I was astounded by this office meeting my areas of concern. The front staff was very sympathetic and squeezed me into Dr. Amins busy schedule. The office was immaculate and had a touch of modern technology. Dr. Amin was very informative, friendly, and had a positive aura that illuminated the room. Definitely would recommend to anyone suffering from chronic pain.

Ive been to several doctors before Dr. Amin and none of them was able to help me or treat my chronic pain correctly. Dr. Amin has gone above and beyond making sure that my pain management treatment is the right one and Im finally being able to live a normal life. His office is always positive and welcoming treating me like Im part of their family.

Dr. Macek is awesome in his care and understanding of chronic pain conditions. He is also a fantastic board certified Anesthesiologist.I have 15+ years of painful experiences with other doctors, but I have no problem trusting Dr. Macek to take care of me. The staff at American Pain experts are helpful, considerate and professional.

I had a great first visit to American Pain Experts! The office staff was extremely friendly and efficient. You can really tell that the Dr. Macek and Dr. Amin really care for the wellbeing of their patients. I am so pleased with my results and I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for pain relief!!

Dr. Amin and Dr. Macek are two of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to be a patient of. They are smart, compassionate, and dedicated to my care. Both doctors changed my opinion of what pain management is, and more importantly, my pain is under terrific control. This is an exceptional practice.
