I have never had my fur babies so well taken care of, until I started coming to Country Oaks Animal Hospital. The team is attentive and works with the needs of their clients. They show love and happiness whenever I bring my "kids" to see them. I have happily been with this animal hospital since the summer of 2014. Even though Im moving soon, I will make the long drive to Dr. Richmond for his team, and the top-notch, quality care they give to my pets. Last week, I had to have my eldest cat put down. I have never been through this in my life, and Dr. Richmond and his team made the experience the smoothest and the most peaceful I could have asked for. They were empathetic, supportive, respectful and considerate every step of the way. They let me take my time saying goodbye to my beloved cat, and they were tender and gentle with him when we let him go. I have tears just writing about them because they are a one in a million veterinarian hospital. If you bring your pets here, you will be starting a wonderful relationship with this family of animal lovers. I highly recommend them, you cant find this kind of care and service these days.

We are fanatics about our veterinarians as we cherish our 3 Goldens. Upon moving here in 2012, we began weeding out the vets in the area. We scheduled a visit to Country Oaks Animal Hospital and did we luck out! I wouldnt go to anyone other than Dr. Richmond. He is so thorough and caring. One of my Goldens had developed severe symptoms which other vets could not help. Dr. Richmond put Dixie on a medication that knocked it out of her in 3 days. She continues to develop these symptoms periodically, when there is a change in weather, and now we can do something for her that works! She developed the symptoms this week when our cold spell came through and, this time, she was back to normal in one day!!! We love Dr. Richmond and his team. Thank you all so much!!!!

Our sweet Gladys June had reached the end of her road and was ready, oh so ready, to cross the Rainbow Bridge. We called three other offices and each required us to make an appointment within the next two weeks for an office visit and exam, one including labs, to "establish her as a patient first." THEN the doctor would decide if she should be euthanized. Of course--all of this would add to their pockets, but not be the kindest for Gladys or us. We called Country Oaks who told us to come in right away after we explained once again her condition and age. They could see right away that it was her time. They were compassionate and caring for both Gladys June and us. Well always go back there.

Love this animal hospital! Very welcoming! My chihuahua was experiencing problems with his urinary tract 2 days ago and today some problems with his anal glands. 2 days ago I was a new client & they quickly took us in & made availability in their busy schedule for my dog to be treated. Today, again they took time to see my dog when I didnt have an appointment about his anal glands. Other locations near by were not quick to receive us due to their schedule and being a new client, they would have to spend more time on us, so it wasnt welcoming. So I definitely recommend this vet!

Dr. Richmond examined our four-legged brother, he was very patient.......(with me, I had a lot of questions). He was very educational and informative when talking to me and my kid (my little buddy) and hes kind. The office staff called several times to make sure my little guy was OK too after our visit! (That impresses me)! The girls running the office and the techs were wonderful. The office was clean and smelled clean; the reception area was a pleasant area to wait (trust me, we didnt wait long) and it was seasonally decked out.

We absolutely love Country Oaks Animal Hospital. We have three cats that are our babies. We feel that Dr. Richardson and his staff are some of the finest we have every encountered. We moved here from California and didnt think we would find this caliber of care and attention for our pets. They are the very best and we highly recommend them. You can see their love for animals. Their attention to detail is wonderful and the care they give is excellent. Yup, we love them and trust them with our babies care.

We first started taking our dog here when we moved to the area in 2011. From the first visit the staff was friendly, helpful and most importantly made us feel at ease when they handled our pup. They always take the extra time to answer any questions and go over any concerns and, never made us feel rushed out. They give us accurate estimates ahead of time that match what they ask us to pay when we leave.They never have any surprise fees, or add ons. This is by far the Best vet we have ever been to.

Ive been taking our Doberman Pinscher and our Standard Poodle to Country Oaks since they were puppies. I wouldnt take them anywhere else. Both dogs have had "issues" and/or injuries during this time. Dr. Richmond is the best vet I could have for my pets. Hes caring, knows what hes doing and has established a trusting relationship with my pets. In addition, he doesnt encourage unnecessary charges and always considers their welfare and comfort. I highly recommend Country Oaks and Dr. Richmond!

Anytime you have to take a loved one to a specialist is terrifying- health and cost wise- and they quickly reassured us theyre there for the love of animals and not just after your money. I have taken my dogs to Country Oaks for over 10 years [thats 70 in dog years] . They have always been very kind and attentive. The vet takes time to explain any problem or treatment. My current dog likes Oaks so much that when he enters he immediately goes to the swinging door that leads behind the counter to greet the receptionist. They greet him by name!

Dr. Richmond is a fantastic vet, he really has the gift of compassion and love. He definitely does what he was called to do. The staff is sweet and compassionate as well. They are a great bunch of people who together make one heck of a team. I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommend them. Your pet will receive the best of care.
