If I could give negative stars I would. When I was going to the hospital the 3rd time (2nd time for bleeding) the Midwives of Ocala told me if I was still pregnant after I got out of the hospital that I could reschedule an appointment I missed. I called Dr. Hunts office today to see about switching on May 1st when my Medicade changes over. But Im supposed to check in with the midwives to make sure my antibiotics are working because I refused a shot for a very bad UTI. Theyre telling me Im not there patient because I missed that appointment and that they cant do anything for me until after Im Dr. Hunts patient. The lady on the phone, Dee, was so rude and told me I was lying to her because she didnt have a record of me going to the hospital a 2nd or 3rd time even though I called them every time. Theyve done nothing for me. They never answer their phones. I woke up once and couldnt pee, but had a full bladder. They told me to drink 3 or 4 bottles of water. I ended up in the hospital to get my bladder drained because it was getting to be a dangerous amount in it. I called them one day when I was bleeding. They told me they do stuff like that and to go to the hospital if I wanted. And the next time I was bleeding (turned out to be a uti) they told me if I didnt miscarry to let them know so they could reschedule my apt. After all the rude and lack of sensitivity from them I decided to change Doctors. Ive made 1 phone call to a different office and they are now refusing to see me to make sure my antibiotics are working. If youre looking for a Dr., stay away from Midwives of Ocala. Youd get better care with the health dept.

Went there first pregnancy and they acted so rude when they read the results because it came back negitive, saying it was probably in my head making me feel horrible,then when my blood test came back, they want to act all sorry and sweet, that disgusted me and I wouldbt recommended them to anyone, cause they give a not so nice vibe, and when your pregnant, your midwives is suppose to make you feel comfortable

I picked Midwives of Ocala for both pregnancies and I have to say theyve been pretty great. Everywhere you go they will have pros and cons, but I must say Im satisfied with these women. Theyve all done an incredible job.

Ive never had an issue with any of the staff here they are all very nice. I love how nurse partitioner Brakefield takes her time and actually listens to any concerns you may have.
