I took my 10yrs. old daughter a week ago to be sure she doesnt have more than strep throat since shes still running a low fever with rapid breathing on her 9th day shes been sick. The front desk was nice and courteous, the facility decent and the wait is consider good, when we get to see the doctor in 15-20mins. Thats for the two stars Im given. As for nurses and doctor are - over all decent (no personality nor warmth toward a child). With all these being said, I JUST WANT ANYONE WHOS READING TO TAKE NOTE OF WHAT IM GOING TO SAY NEXT - when the nurse came back at the end of our appt. to let me know, were getting two prescriptions, and one being an antibiotic-Amoxicillin. I told her my child is allergic to one of the antibiotic when she was 2yrs. old. But Im not sure was it Amoxicillin or Penicillin. So what should we do? She said "take it then see. If she has an reaction then either come back here or to her regular doctor." Dont recall her name but she was a white female nurse & we were there 7/14/16 around 11am. I got very concerned & afraid to ask for more assistant from anyone in this place. So decided to just take the prescription & hope to get help from the pharmacist. At Walgreen pharmacy, I told the pharmacist what happened & she looked up my child record. Lucky us, it was stated in my child record that she is allergic to Penicillin which is same as Amoxicillin. The pharmacist call in for alternative antibiotic and stated what happened shouldnt have happened. So what will happen if I went somewhere else to get this antibiotic where have no record of my child? How could a health profession reply in such way? I can even look the other way about not having bedside manner. If in training, check with the doctor before say such thing. If not feeling well to care for a patient please stay home. If dislike being a nurse do something about it out side of this facility where people come in to get their health better. People are not coming in to get more sick nor to do testing on medicine due to what ever issue you were dealing when you suppose to care for them with your 100% attention.

This place is a joke. That was my first time and I will not go back again. First of all, waiting room was empty when I got there, but still waited for about good 20 - 25 mins before I was called in. Once I was called in, the nurse asked me what was wrong with me, as I was explaining to her, she was walking around looking for something, I wasnt even sure if she heard all of what I had said. Then she has asked me what is my weight, I said I wasnt sure, instead of weighing me, she just put down very rough estimate and the scale was right next to her!!! She was lazy and apparently just dragging herself to finish off the day. Then here comes the doctor, as I was explaining to her my symptoms, she responded as if I was a 5 year old kid. Besides, she said I had Strep Throat, but did not even do a culture test on my throat to see if thats true, she just simply said she can see and hear it my voice. When I went home with the antibiotic that she had prescribed me, I still had high fever, diarrhea, vomiting and all the other symptoms for 4 days. I felt like my body was fighting whatever I had on my own instead of the medication. Bottom line, Id stay away if I were you.

Ive been sick for 2 months and seeing different doctors but this day I really needed to see someone fast. While waiting numerous people fought with the receptionists who argued back which to me is super unprofessional. I understand standing your ground but some people are just tired of being played with and are going through a lot and you got to bite your tongue sometimes. Also the room full of people had to watch. It took 2 hours before my paperwork was even beginning to be registered. The only reason I wasnt upset about is was the staff was kind and apologetic about it because it was a new system which I can understand. But then I went back to see the doctor and he only looked at my throat for 15 seconds. Called it strep and sent me out with antibiotics and the charge was $55. I woke up the next morning in the er with a severe case of mono which antibiotics dont help at all. Also never had strep and the hospital said that shouldve been obvious if Ive been sick for so long. Tired of doctors only wanting money.

Absolute horrible experience, im literally in the doctors office writing this review. My doctor was rude, insensitive and obviously hasnt taken basic hygiene or a professionalism course in a while. He near tore the glasses off of my face instead of asking me to take them off for the exam and he never washed his hands before or after he examined my swollen eye. Then I had to ask him and his staff twice to actually culture my eye before prescribing an antibiotic. He seemed suprised and annoyed that I actually asked to know what was causing the issue.

I just returned from the Express Care walk in on Old Winter Garden Road. I have been going to this facility for emergency diagnosis and treatment since it opened years ago. I have always found the Staff to be caring and very professional. Dr. K and Dr. B are a credit to their profession. Nurse Terry has a great sense of humor and makes you feel at ease. The entire Staff has always been ready to assist one in their times of sickness or injury. Keep up the good work you are the best.

There were approx 7 people ahead of me and I waited 2 hrs., sick, sitting up, being coughed on by strangers in the waiting area before I left. The receptionist says "youre next to go back and there are only 3 ahead of you to be seen " so I assume it wouldve been at least another hour to hour-and-half to even see a professional. (or 1/2 hr. per person, one Doctor on a Saturday) Moral of the story, if youre dying then go to ER, if not, youre better off staying home till Monday.

I happen to love this place. It sure beats a wait in the er when I cant get seen by my original Dr. for two days. I have been here twice within the year I have went in and had to wait maybe 10 minutes bofore finally getting in the back and the dr that I seen was very nice and explained everything to me. She even said the last time I was there that if Im not better within so many days are gets worse than return to see them. The staff is always friendly and Im never there long.

I had a minor toe injury that required stitches and didnt want to goto the hospital . It would take for ever they got me right in and the doctor told me everything was going to happen; explained how everything thing worked and with in 15 minutes I had gotten stitches and wrapped up and all ready to go. I highly recommend coming here their costumer service is great and theyre so kind. Overall I greatly enjoyed my visit and forgot about the pain
