Absolutely disgusted with Akron General Steels Corners in Stow! I got hit in the head buy a metal object falling from over 15 feet that weighed a lot, I go into the emergency room at 11:15 sat there bleeding in hospital room for over an hour and a half before a very rude, insensitive and incompetent lady Came in to look at it. Then she tells me that I need 3 Staples and wasnt going to give me anything for pain did not clean my wound, she says to me if you dont want Staples it will heal on its own but it will take longer so I asked if they were going to x-ray she says youre young and healthy you should be fine, asked to talk to another nurse and she says to me that she is the only one there that has Authority I said I want to talk to somebody different she said nobody has more Authority than me...... unbelievable. I cant believe a hospital can treat you like this...

Absolute waste of time. I was saw for an injured knee. The doctor walked in I explained what was going on and he looked at me and asked me what I wanted them to do? Are you kidding me? Then I told him tell me whats wrong and he said a diagnoses and didnt even look at my leg. A quack. A joke. A waste of time. These doctors only care about there pay check. I told them I was not there for pain medicine I wanted to know what was going on. They completely treated me like I was nothing. The RN was very nice and even apoligized for the doctor being rude.

Was at the akron general er in stow earlier today and I turned my call light on because I had to use the restroom and they turned it off at the nurses station. Then a few minutes later a nurse comes and tells me that the doctor wants me to drink something to see how I feel and I told her that I needed to use the restroom first. Then when the nurse came in with my discharge papers I was doubled over in pain and she didnt even ask me if I was ok. Just gave me my discharge papers and took the iv out of my arm.

Yes they are bad. Doctor and nurses could care less about you. The one RN this LD me I had the last room as all they had left was the recessitation room where they store the dead ones. I immediately asked t be released .

Horrible experience! Absolutely appallingly rude staff both nurses and the doctor I saw were incredibly unprofessional! They clearly do not care about patient care or satisfaction. I have never been to such a horrible ER.
