I chose South Orange Wellness and Injury Center (SOWAIC) because after too many medical doctor visits and zero results, this is the perfect relief treatment center for me when it comes to neck, back and sciatic pain due to Scoliosis . Dr. Jeff is my preferred chiropractor, and has been for 14 years. I chose doctor Jeff not only because he is an exceptional, dedicated, successful, current, board-certified chiropractor that comes with outstanding referrals and reviews but also because he is just as exceptional as a person. I feel extremely confident and comfortable under his care. I have found that frequent spinal adjustments significantly reduce my neck and shoulder pain, which in turn have increased my mobility and enhanced my lifestyle and therefore, my health in general. His staff is amazingly committed and consists of a wide-range of members and professionals, working in varied roles, each drawn in as necessary to provide the utmost care experience. From the chiropractors, the medical doctor, the office coordinators, to the physical therapists and technicians, everyone is dedicated to ensure the best results possible. Spanish-speaking professionals are also available should the patient need assistance or have a preferred choice. The office not only is beautiful but it has some of the most popular non-invasive, drug-free medical therapy resources. I recently decided for Cold Laser Therapy as an alternative treatment for Plantar Fasciitis. My foot is almost pain free after my 3rd intervention. The facilities conveniently has an X-ray room, physical therapy, massage therapy and plenty treatment rooms to assist each patients particular needs. I highly recommend South Orange Wellness and Injury Center as an alternative treatment for relief from pain and or injuries. They are the original office and have widely expanded over the years evidently for very good reasons. This in it-self speaks volume.

I made an appointment over the phone and asked if they took my insurance and they said YES and that anyways consultation was free, get there fill out paperwork, waited for about 30 minutes and was brought in to the room, nice gentleman comes in, introduced himself and start the "consultation" for free...which was not really a consultation it was more of a 5 minutes chit chat, someone in between he ask how I heard about them and I said online and when I call they said they were in network with my insurance...then he tells me I have to pay $99 regardless of my insurance coverage to cover x rays and treatment... and to call insurance company to make sure I was covered (which was nice of him...So I didnt have any surprises) but wait...that contradicts what I was told over the phone 5hrs earlier when I made the appointment... Then At 6:30pm when I dont have an option other than go back home with the same pain because my insurance was NOT in network (which they knew already because he mention my insurance name...and I didnt tell him what insurance I had before that) if a provider knows they are not in network...everyone else in the house know... I pay a lot for "commercial" health insurance... I met my very high deductible... My insurance covers chiropractor... I have no desire to pay as self pay if Im already paying for insurance that covers that service...Waste of my time and travel and on top of that ended up doing someone elses job by calling and verify insurance coverage for them. And yes, you have many 5 stars reviews... the few 1 star reviews count too, your response to those ... not well taken and with a defensive feedback... when expectations arent met Take the bad as well as the "amazing" ones... At the end of the day you are to provide great service.

I have been going here for five years after wasting my time with orthopedic workers comp doctors for almost twenty years. Since then I have had no major episodes with my chronic back conditions. The ladies and gentleman in the back always take an incredible amount of time getting me all loosened up for my adjustment. You could not ask for better attitudes, especially with patients who are in obvious discomfort. They always bring a smile to my face, and have one on theirs. Dr G takes his time making sure we make the best possible progress we can. Never have I been treated with anything but the upmost respect. I never feel rushed like other doctors offices I have visited in the last. Dr Jeff always makes sure your adjustment leaves you feeling better than when you walked in. Determination at its best. From the moment I walk in to the moment I leave Lisa and the front staff make you feel like part of a family. I wouldnt take my business and overall wellbeing to any other establishment. Thanks to everyone there for making me always feel great and part of a family

Been coming here for a little over a year if not longer, Its one of those things that I come in whenever I feel like I need an adjustment. This place is not covered by my insurance but after researching and visiting other places in the area that are covered under my insurance I decided it was worth me paying out of pocket to ensure great/safe and professional service. This office makes you feel at ease, when I first stared getting adjustments I was extremely nervous and I came in asking loads of questions. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and upfront answering all my questions, same with Dr. G. He was very patient and answered all my questions time and time again. Dr. G has helped tremendously, I was very skeptical about chiropractic treatment but I have seen how my inmune system has gotten stronger this last year and a half, I used to get sick a lot and I just dont anymore, I truly believe that it has to do with getting adjustments from time to time.

Dr. Jeff and his staff are awesome!! I have been his patient for many, many years. He was instrumental in relieving my pain and managing my back problems through these years. And then he began to offer "Vax-D" therapy aka. spinal decompression. He felt I would benefit greatly from this technique and man was he right!! Long story short, I was literally one neurologist appointment away from scheduling surgery when I decided to give it a go in a "last ditch effort" to avoid any cutting into my back. THANK GOD I did!!! Today Im virtually pain free and more importantly did not have surgery. I go back to S.O.W. periodically to get a "stretch" when I feel discomfort and come out good as new. There is no question in my mind that Dr. Jeff and the treatments I received are responsible for my recovery. Thank you Dr. Jeff and everyone over at South Orange Wellness!!! I am truly grateful.

This office is highly professional, clean and amazing. The front desk ladies greets me by my first name from my first visit, and it truly means so much to me since I have a hard name to pronounce! Dr. Harris is the best! He is always caring, honest, and very knowledgeable. I feel better after every adjustment from him! He takes his time with me to make sure he answers every question or concern I have. He really goes above and beyond my expectations! I live 40 minutes away and rather come to this office to be seen by Dr.Harris and know Ill leave feeling better than go to any other office! The therapy team they have in the back is great as well. They always help me on the therapy procedures and promptly take me off as soon as therapy finishes. Office visits doesnt even feel like doctor visits here. The staff here makes you feel like youre family.
