I received LASIK 3 weeks ago from Dr. Manning at Gulf Coast Eye Care. All I can say is this was an amazing experience. I was extremely nervous the day of my surgery but that feeling went away quickly because the staff and Dr. Manning made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. To be honest I have never experienced such a personable, compassionate and professional medical staff. The actual LASIK procedure was very quick and over before I knew it. I did not feel ANY pain whatsoever, during or after the surgery, and I am the biggest baby there is when it comes to pain or discomfort. I actually had improved vision the same night after the procedure. The next day following my LASIK, I had an appointment with Dr. Manning and my vision was already 20/20. I have worn glasses or contacts since I was the age of 10 so this was a miracle to me. Dr. Manning is extremely professional, honest and compassionate. He called me the same night following my LASIK surgery to make sure I was doing OK. What doctor do you know who has ever done that??? Dr. Manning does! I know there are a lot of Groupons out there for cheap LASIK and "deals" for LASIK. I definitely looked into these options before choosing to do LASIK with Dr. Manning because I work for a non profit organization and am not rich by any means. All I am going to say is beware of scams. Check all reviews of these "deals" for LASIK. I found that the reviews for these places were awful. When it comes to your eyes/body I would suggest doing your research and I found that Dr. Manning at Gulf Coast Eye Care had the best reviews. I am so happy I had LASIK. This is going to change my life.

Dr. Manning performed LASIK surgery on both of my eyes almost a week ago and I must say I am extremelyyyy pleased with the results, great care from all of the staff, and awesome service. I am proud to say that I am already seeing better than 20/20 in both eyes (20/15) and I dont feel any discomfort in my eyes. As a matter of fact, I dont feel a thing in my eyes. They feel normal but work 10x better than before, HAHA! The day of my LASIK surgery I was feeling discomfort in my eyes after the procedure so I called Dr. Manning to find out if this was normal and he assured me it was and that after a short nap I should feel fine again. So I took a 3 hour nap and lo and behold, no discomfort anymore and my vision was already sooo much better :) He even called me at 9:00PM that same night to find out how I was doing - amazing! I can go on and on about the great work and service of Dr. Manning and his staff but youll just have to try them for yourself. They have free consultations if youre considering them for your vision correction. A+ Highly recommended!

My wife had ICL surgery performed by Doctor Manning from Gulfcoast Eye Care. Dr. Manning was extremely knowledgeable and showed a genuine care and concern for my wifes well being. He explained every step of the procedure in detail and made us feel comfortable about this life changing surgery. The day of the procedure my wife was nervous until Dr. Manning talked with her and reassured her everything would be okay. My wife encountered some rare complications that were very stressful and Dr. Manning handled the situation with a combination of wisdom and compassion that I have never experienced by any other healthcare provider. My wife now has perfect 20/20 vision without the use of contacts or glasses which shes worn nearly her entire life. Many doctors change lifes on a daily basis but few do it with such genuine enthusiasm for their work coupled with heartfelt concern for their patients. I would strongly recommend Dr. Manning of Gulfcoast Eye Care because hes making a difference in the world by improving the way his patients view it.

Dear Dr. Manning, The word that sums up my experience is "Concern!" Everyone associated with my cataract surgery was concerned to make it the best, easiest, clearest, most comfortable, personal experience I remember in a long time! Being a former Ophthalmic technician, I was a little skeptical but my fears were groundless! Every step of the way, it was MY decision about what should be done: what did I want to accomplish with this implant, what to see, what it would result in, and on and on! No question was too silly or asked too many times to be repeated! I was treated as a VIP before, during, and after the operation! What a personable staff at the clinics and operating site and Dr. Manning doesnt seem anymore like my Dr. but a friend who only wants the best for me! Dont hesitate! Youll be satisfied and amazed! I was seeing 20/20 the next day! Very satisfied is an understatement!

I recently had LASIK performed with Dr.Manning at Gulfcoast Eye Care, and it was an overall great experience. Everyone at the clinic is so incredibly warm and nice. They offer some of the best (if not the best) technology in the Bay area. No, they are not the cheapest place, but common sense should tell you that you should not solely focus on cost when it comes to someone taking a laser to your corneas. You should select a doctor with knowledge, experience, access to advanced laser technology, patience to walk you through the process, and an excellent staff to back him/her up. And Dr.Manning and the Gulfcoast Eye Care staff fit this description. With that in mind, the cost was extremely appropriate. Thanks to everyone there for their help!

Dr. Manning performed cataract surgery on both my eyes, and I couldnt be happier! My vision is now 20/20 in both eyes. I chose Dr. Manning because I have been impressed with his professional manner, always patiently answering my many questions about dry eye and my cataract surgery. He is always up-to-date on the latest treatments and is a good listener. I recommend him highly! His staff is also professional and helpful. Every step of the process is well-thought out and explained in detail. All of this helped alleviate my apprehension about my surgery.

My first cataract surgery was on 4/16/14 and the second eye was on 4/30/14. The whole experience was amazing ! The staff in the Pinellas Park office are all very professional and friendly. They explained everything step by step and I felt very comfortable in the whole process. Dr Manning is a great doctor and I was (and am) very happy. The surgery was painless and Ive had no concerns at all. I will recommend Dr. Manning to anyone who has any eye concerns, especially cataract surgery. A "new" world has opened up !!! Thank-you. Wow! I was overwhelmed with the clarity of my vision after cataract eye surgery on both eyes. I just had PRK eye surgery conducted by Dr. Manning and upon sitting up from the surgery, the world appeared to be a new place. I could finally see without having glasses or contacts in. I did not experience any pain during the surgery and had very little discomfort during the recovery stage.
