I have been coming to Eye Care Associates for many many years. I love Dr. Baldwin. The dispensary has a much better selection of frames that fit my preferences.I have never had a bad experience until recently. I had my exam on May 24th 2016. I picked out my new frames and ordered my glasses. 10 days later they arrived and I went to pick them up. When I got there the arm on the new frame was defective. So I was told they would have to send it back. I waited another 10 days for the frame to come in. It did. They called. Well apparently while putting my lenses into the new frame ( the frame they were made to fit) they scratched both lenses so badly I couldnt even see out of them. I was told they would have to start over and order a new frame and lenses. I got home and called the office asking to speak to my doctor. I felt that he should know what was going onand why I wasnt happy. At this point I was requested a paper copy of my prescription and a total refund of my out of pocket cost as well as my insurance be reimbursed. I would go elsewhere. The technician called me and said they didnt want me to leave so they upgraded my lenses to some high tech something I dont even know what it is. 10 more days. I get a call....frame is on back order. I get another call. Frame came in but now frame and lenses need to be sent out to the lab for assembly. 1-2 more days. So here it is July 27, 2016 and I still have no new glasses. Glasses that had a prescription change and are needed for driving and seeing far away. I am very disappointed and seriously doubt I ever us the dispensary there again. I understand things happen...but its been more than 2 months now.

I visited this office a few months ago and was advised it would be cheaper to order my glasses to be billed through insurance, as my contacts would be $116.00 minus a $65.00 rebate. I went ahead and ordered the glasses through insurance, as I was promised it was a better deal, and then tried the trial for the contacts. I ordered the contacts after a trial and even bragged to the doctor what a great deal $116.00 for contacts plus a $65.00 rebate was. He agreed. Today, my boyfriend goes in to pick up the contacts and they ask for $223.00 and say the rebate is only for a year supply. The $116.00 price was provided for 6 months and I was never advised the rebate would not go towards the 6 month supply. I called in to advise this is not what I was previously told, and they laughed and said i must have been misinformed and there was nothing they could do. I will say the doctor was wonderful, but I feel this business is very deceptive and does not consider their customers. I feel they convinced me to order my glasses, as they knew the trial would take longer than the ordering of the contacts. I was forced into purchasing these contacts for more than I was promised, as I need my contacts. I will no longer be returning to this office, and I strongly recommend other customers to take their business elsewhere as they do not care for their customers, only their profit.

Place seems great. Doctors are not in a rush and they do listen. Even the person fitting your glasses whose job is to also upsell is extremely pleasant. The reason why Im never coming back or purchasing the glasses: *** the receptionist*** she was a bit older and I mean that in no disrespect at all but she talked to me like I was her step child. I came in a couple of minutes late to my appointment which I disregarded because the service its amazing. At the time of checkout she noticed there was a mistake on the math for my pricing which is completely fine. The problem was that it was a $70 up charge including a fee I was not told about. I still would have not mind paying for it but she was entirely unapologetic dry as a box of dirt sand and when she saw me struggle with the price change due to my budget she showed no empathy and even immediately suggested to just charge for the visit. She did not give me a moment to think and did not even present options as the person fitting the glasses did when I expressed I had a tight budget. I can order my glasses online with equal or better quality for a 1/3 of the cost and that is exactly what Im doing.

Dr. Wilson is the most professional and friendly optometrist me and my Family have ever had to deal with. All of these bad reviews below are just not right. Please keep in mind that this is a small family owned practice and not one of your large commercial chain operations. Mistakes do happen, but Dr Wilson and the wonderful office staff will most certainly do everything they can to make it right. Please, give them a chance if you are on the fence and you WILL NOT be disappointed.

All the personnel are pleasant and professional. The number of services offered are good, and their costs were well explained. The only thing keeping them from a 5 star rating is that it I ordered my contacts over a month ago and I have heard nothing from the office. I will contact them to see if Ican get this cleared up.

I have been going here for over 20 years. Dr. Baldwin is great. Ive had great service, even during emergencies. I love the selection of frames. The early morning hours are extremely useful to fit in a pick-up before work.

Rushed through exam by bald doctor. Insurance not done correctly, cheated out of proper benefits. Prescription still not right. Will NEVER go back. You should never go.

I have been going here since 1987. I see doctor wilson. He does not rush and is very thorough
