Dr. Floyd is by far the BEST pediatrician in Miami!!! In a few words, I can say that Dr. Floyd saved our daughter’s life today. Our 5-year daughter started having a rampant high fever Saturday Sept 19th night. The following day, Sunday the 20th, the fever was still there plus swollen lips, and some minor skin hives. At 12 pm, my wife took her to Miami Children’s Hospital (ER) as it seems that the swollen and hives were expanding more aggressively. At the ER of MCH, three different pediatricians saw our daughter and they all concluded that she had an allergy reaction of a bug or insect. The following day, today Monday the 21th, my wife and I couldn’t reconcile with what was happening (more hives, plus the feet turning greyish and with cellulitis) to our child vs. what MCH doctors had said yesterday. Hence, today Monday the 21st of Sep, we took her to Dr. Floyd. In less than 30 minutes, Dr. Floyd evaluated our daughter and concluded that she had an aggressive and rare form of Streptococcus that manifests itself by the above symptoms, with a final possible outcome of either amputation of some of the limbs or even death. Dr. Floyd’s rapid and assertive evaluation and treatment saved our daughter’s life as now, close to 12 hours after seeing him, 99% of the visual symptoms have disappeared. Had we taken MCH Doctor’s word, most likely today’s outcome would have been very different considering the severity of the Streptococcus attack. It makes you wonder about the quality of care at MCH. What would have happened to our daughter if Dr. Floyd was not present in our lives. How many children are misdiagnosed and their lives (and those of their parents) impacted forever? Therefore, if in doubt of any assessment/evaluation/treatment by any other Pediatrician, even at famous MCH, go to Dr. Floyds office.

Let me sum it up by saying that I have found my daughters new doctor! He is kind, sincere, experienced, and knowledgeable. His workplace is very nice and his assistants work with you for all your needs.
