Both my mother and brother had been going here for years and then after a recent experience with my brother, I figured it was about time to speak about it. My brothers dog had stopped eating a drinking recently and he brought her in. Without much testing done at all, they gave her a shot to get her to eat and drink. This worked for a day or two, but then the no eating and drinking came back. My brother knew something was wrong, but they didnt suggest doing anything additional. My brother wanted blood work done and so it was finally done, but took so long to get results, set up an appointment, and look at them that he went in, demanded all the information they had on his dog, and left to another vet. That morning, another vet determined his dog had lung cancer and, well, it was a hard decision after that. A similar situation happened with my mother who no longer goes there and after visit after visit, her oldest dog never got better. When she finally decided to take her to another vet, in three days it was determined that her oldest dog had Cushings and a treatment plan was created to help with quality of life. There seemed to be a weird transition that occurred at that office and whether its the introduction of Dr. Gregorys son or what, the business has changed dramatically. As a family, we have not gone back. Our pets our part of our family and with our pets not being treated well, we can not go back to Dr. Gregorys practice.

My fiancee and I visited Dr. Jerry Gregory for the first time a couple of days ago and can not say enough good things about this office. To begin, the office is very close to our apartment near the USF campus. I made the appointment somewhat last-minute the day prior the exam, so I fully expected to be squeezed between patients as time allowed. When we arrived, the office appeared to be empty except for the staff (this did not bother me one bit as I have a bit of an aversion to crowds), but they were very receptive, friendly, and accommodating; so we instantly felt welcome. We arrived for the exam about 20 minutes early and as soon as we had checked in, the doctor was ready to see us. To mirror what other reviewers have said, this doctor genuinely cares about animals and is not out for your wallet. He educated us about the health of our cat and we are very glad to have found the Gregory doctors. I would highly recommend this office to anyone and guarantee my cats will be back for regular check-ups.

My dog and cat have been cared for by Gregory Veterinary Clinic for approximately 5 years. The staff and doctors have always been caring and kind to us and the pets and they have never nickel and dimed us for any of the care they have received. About a year ago Buddy (our dog) was diagnosed with "Cushings" Disease before long he was unable to walk and it was time to make the decision no one wants to. I tell you this because Dr. Ryan, Ashley and all the staff could not have made that go better, based on the situation; from ongoing care until we put him to sleep, which they came to our house to relieve his anxiety, and our family, to the sympathy and care afterwards. I just had a visit at their clinic, I must say they deserve every star in their reviews..Dr. Ryan is extremely helpful and informative, not only did he diagnose one of my dogs for a small bump and itch problems, he talked to me about my other two dogs about that have been itching as well, we discovered that a flea problem was starting in my new house. I asked him if I should bring my other two in for a checkup..he said not necessary yet, since he knows that one has fleas its probably the same for the other two, and to only bring them in if the problem gets worse..but he put me on the path to get them all better at once. Great service, I will definitively be bringing all my dogs here and recommending them to other pet lovers!

Amazing doctors! They really look for the wellbeing of the pets. My cats were treated exactly for what they needed, with no unnecessary add-ons. Dr. Gregory, Sr. was also very patient with my calico, who has a very difficult personality. This is the first doctor that understood the challenges with her, and didnt make us feel like our cranky cat was a problem. We also received great advise and support. I will be taking my pets there for as long as I can, and I recommend them now to all my family and friends!

We felt that Dr. Gregory genuinely cares for animals. Prices were reasonable and it seemed like he would not suggest things that are not needed. Just as the other reviewers mentioned. There are many veterinarians who seem more concerned with how to make more money, and this vet is not one of those type. I was very satisfied with the visit and our dog was also very comfortable there. You can trust this vet and these reviews.

Great experience! The Gregorys are wonderful. The father and son are both down-to-earth, funny and trustworthy. The son, Dr. Ryan Gregory, has injected new energy to the practice and their customer service is amazing. Ive never been to a Vet that I trusted more and I know they are not pushing unnecessary treatment on me. Highly Recommended!!
