I came to this office a year ago with some bleeding problems. I must say that I was treated very well by all the staff.Everything was billed correctly to my insurance. I met the doctor and his wife for the first time, he seemed very caring, very GENTLE, and genuinely concerned for my health. I had some tests done and that same week, I promptly received a call back from them with the results. I felt that they were right on top of things. Now, I am an OB patient of his and I have been to the office twice. Both times I have been treated very well by everyone. I will say from past experience with my first child many years ago, that it is very comforting to see the SAME doctor each and every prenatal visit. The continuity of care is so important. I must have seen six different doctors at that other place. There is no comparison to the "one on one" care you get with dealing with Dr Cazes. You dont have to explain yourself a hundred times during your forty weeks to a new doc. And you know who will be delivering your baby--most importantly. I feel in good hands at this clinic and look forward to the end result. One last thing, I saw some reviews about the waiting time while in the office. Again, this doctor delivers his own babies at UCH at all hours, then he makes rounds on his patients in the hospital, the he comes and sees patients in the clinic....He still has made it to all appointments on time. Think about it, those other doctors have people to cover for them, Dr Cazes is on his own, yet he manages very well. I have never had to wait more than twenty five minutes and that is pretty good. If you think because there are more doctors there will be less of a waiting time, you are wrong. They double book all those rooms and crowd the waiting rooms. That doesnt happen at this office.

So my daughter and I just moved to New Tampa and was looking for a new Gynocologist. Our insurance lead us to New Tampa OBGYN on 14424 Bruce B Downs Blvd for today 01/27/2015 @ 8:00 am. So we get there and there is one pregnant lady in front of us, my daughter stands in line for a few minutes and then decides to sit down until they finish. At 8:30 am we HADNT even been acknowledged. We over heard the girls at the front desk state (we havent even said anything yet and started laughing). A few minutes later the doctor came out talking to front desk and said something about Ms. Reddick however we havent even filled out paperwork and its 830. So we got up and left feeling so disrespected. I called back to the office and spoke to Ms. B who bluntly told me we must have been at the wrong office and NEVER apologized and the worst part is she told me that she hopes me and my daughter find another OB GYN and hung up on me! Wow working in Customer Service for over 20 years being with Humana the last 9 this is terrrible Customer Service! I am so disappointed and I guess welcome to New Tampa! Reading the other reviews sounds so typical and I can only imagine that the front desk acts like they dont care because appearantly the Doctor doesnt care neither. Ms B was so rude and I just cant believe that people in the medical profession would act like this but I should have known something wasnt right when they got us in so fast! Sounds like business isnt doing to well but Dr. Cazes I have 20 years of Customer Service Experience and if you need me to come teach your staff just give me a call! I can make that happen and I assure you when I am done your business will be more sucessful!

Wow. Where do I start. This is the worst doctors office ever! After reading the previous comment I really feel that this doc should not be in practice because he truly does not care. First thing, his two dumb uneducated assistances Laura and Rita are very unprofessional. Not to mention one day i came in and their office door was locked so I had to wait for mins at a time before I could get in. I submitted my fml paperwork to be filled out and they told me it would be filled out and they would fax it in. Well, a month later it turns out they never faxed it in and my claim was denied, after they lied and told me it was faxed. Dr. Cases never answers your questions and gives you bs answers. The final straw, along with the fml situation was when I informed him that for some reason it seemed that I couldnt get pregnant and wanted to know why. According to the doc I had massive amts of tissue that needed to be removed through a d&c only which was the reason I couldnt get pregnant. This he concluded after performing a vaginal ultrasound. The d&c was then scheduled. Well, 2 weeks later I find out that I was 4 weeks pregnant. I set an appt to let him know I was pregnant and asked him how this couldve happened if I needed a d&c and he responded with saying maybe you just ovulated". Wtf? I have since switched doctors because if I hadnt I knew it was a matter of time before I wouldve gotten in trouble dealing with these ignorant people. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. HE AND HIS STAFF OF 18YR OLDS ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!

I went to Dr. Cazes office for my first visit , this is my first pregnancy and he didnt even exam me. The student who took my blood poked me 3 times and could not to the blood work so I had to go to Quest Diagnostics. When I got to Quest the tech. drew my blood with no problems. He wrote me script to get a sonogram at a Radiology center. When I got to the appointment for the sonogram , it read "Absence of menstration" lol OMGoodness is he for real? I had a second appointment that I only went to so that I could get the results from the sonogram he sent me for, he didnt even have the results from that. When he was doing my trans-vaginal , I asked a pretty normal question. I asked How big were my fibroids and this doctor says to me" I dont know I would have to see that the previous doctor said"...he was already up inside me , he couldve just looked. I also had concerns that he did not even address. I dont mind the students in the room, because they are learning and I wish them all well, but I will never go back even if someone paid me. I have heard other terrible stories about Dr. Cazes, one where a girl almost lost her baby because of his carelessness. I would like to see this doctor out of business. He is either selective to whom he gives 100% care to or he is just a really, really bad doctor. This is a precious and sometimes sensitive time in a womans life and he isnt what I would consider a good doctor. He really should not be in business.

HORRIBLE DR. I had thought that he was an ok doc during my pregnancy because I was 17 years old at the time and didnt know what to look for and how I should be treated but anyways when I was 42 1/2 weeks I was FINALLY going to be induced to have my daughter...well I started the pitocin at about 6:30am and according to him "since I only made it up to 5-6 by myself, we should start thinking about a c-section (that was about 3pm a mere 8 hours after I was induced!) less than 30 mins after he said that the nurses had all the c-section papers ready and about to wheel my in for surgery...I ended up having a unnecessary c-section for my daughter at 4:42pm....there was no medical reason for it, I was fine, she was fine, I had a typed out birth plan that stated that I wanted to do everything possible NOT to have a c-section, and after much research after the fact I found out that for a woman being induced as long as her and baby are medically ok a c-section shouldnt be considered untill 24hours after the start of pitocin...he gave me a c-section because I wasnt going fast enough for him and he didnt want to have to come back to the hospital that evening or night...and because of that I was forced to have a second c-section with my son and trying to fight to be able to do a VBAC is extremely hard when most offices have a no VBAC policy" so if you would like to avoid having a c-section I would look for a different ob.
