Horrible place for Kids. I took my daughter at age four and they completely traumatized her! She need cavities filled. The doctor and her assistants were yelling at my frantic daughter, who was crying because she was scared. All I could hear was them hollering to stop crying and sit still. Instead of calming her down, they called me over. I couldnt believe what was happening. They asked my to help them hold her down. My poor daughter was screaming for her life! The dentist was so frustrated and annoyed. She had the nerve to tell me that other kids allow her to work on them. I was so upset! I never went back there again. Thank God I found a doctor that was able to finish her treatment. However, shes eight now and is terrified of dentists! Please do not take you children here, especially if they need work done. These people are not highly effective nor trained properly to deal with children. They only care about the money and not the patient. It was clearly evident the way they treated my child.

Dr Claudia Vergara made some very rude and personal comments about my daughter just because she was scared of her while she tried to treat her. Second time I try to take my daughter to this place. She has no rights to tell me how to educate my daughter and even to make assumptions of how my daughter should behave at home. She is a very educated kid and just because she was scared and started crying, it doesnt make her an uneducated child. Most of the rest of the staff was very friendly. I wouldnt suggest this place if you dont want your kids to be traumatized. If they are pediatric dentistry, then they should know how to treat them on different kind of situations. Very unprofessional. This kind of behaviors from so called doctors should be reviewed by the board of doctors of the state. I saw the bad review from other clients but wanted to give it a try, then a second try, but no more! Take your kids somewhere else!

If I could give NO stars I would... NEVER AGAIN will I bring my kids here or recommend this place to anyone. Because they.have no patience, my daughter is 4, first time going to dentist and was nervous and didnt want them to touch her.. (mind you she is very wierd about ppl touching her being she was bit in the face last year by a dog) so the proceeded to tell me to come back another time they have.other patients to see... then the nurse or what ever she was ripped the "goodie bag" out of my daughters hands and told her "This isnt for you, this is for good girls and boys" my daughter then broke down and cried cause the lady let her pick it out. And then to take it away!!!!! Rude staff... no patience with little ones... #dontgohereEVER Now my daughter thinks all dentist are going to be mean to her :-(

This is the worst place to take your kids to for ANY dental work! My daughter went there and ended up having to pull her teeth out because the crown they put on it still had decayed underneath the silver crown, so she end up with an infection causing the teeth to be extracted! Not only that. Im sitting in the waiting area and all I hear is her screaming in the back, I shouldve known better and took her off that chair then! And they also overbook everyone so you will end up waiting an hour after your appointment time to be seen! Obviously Im not the only complaint on here! This place needs a help!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE unless you want them with no teeth!

I do not recommend this Dentist to anyone, the staff is very rude and have no manners what so ever, they also have a dog in the office which is very unprofessional. I am a pet owner but would never have a pet at my place of business where children are in and out all day with allergies. They also were trying to butcher my childs mouth by putting silver caps in the front of her mouth, seriously medicaid needs to look into this practice because all of this in unnecessary. Obviously I went with my gut feeling and left there to get a second opinion and no my daughter does not need silver caps in the front of her mouth. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE!!!

This may be the worst dental office I have ever dealt with. They are painfully slow; after arriving 10 minutes early to a 12:30 appointment, we did not get called until 1pm. They only have about 6 chairs, so my child and I were forced to stand around waiting for over a half hour. The staff did not seem to have their act together, and were very rude. When they finished, they gave me a card telling me they already set the next appointment, without bothering to check if it worked with our schedule. I cancelled it immediately. I would not recommend this dentist, ever.

Traumatic for children, the anesthesia had not gone into effect and they were ready to pull her tooth out. I ask them to wait but the assistant kick me out and told me to wait outside. I didnt move and told her i wanted to talk to Dr.Vergara, and she told me if you dont like it dont come again. Extremely rude and disrespectful.

Verdaderamente no se como yo eh aguantado este lugar para mi hijo por dos años siempre es un problema mal trato ellos dan una multa si no se respeta los horarios pero ellos si sin ningún problema dejan esperando a uno hasta más de una hora y pudiera decir más pero mi paciencia no da para más .

I have been going there for over a year. And the staff are amazing. Aura goes out her way for her patients. Every time I go there the kids seem so happy. Good job Thank you Westwood Family Dental.....

If you have an appointment here except to wait a long time. The waiting room is usually crowded, there is not enough seating.
