My last experience with Dr. Nicolls was to determine the cause of some discomfort I was having in a tooth. She was able to work me in quickly to her schedule, had one of her dental assistants take two x-rays and perform some tests, consulted with me about the results and the action that needed to be taken. It all was done is such an efficient, calm, and reassuring manner. I have seen Dr. Nicolls for nearly 20 years and have had the same treatment consistently. I really cant say enough about the quality of care I have received from her and her staff. They are top notch and stay informed about new approaches that cause less pain, if any , and approaches that improve the health of my teeth, gums and mouth. Thank you so much Dr. Nicolls!!

You will be treated with caring and warmth by everyone in this office. True professionals and they are actually happy to see you EVERY single time you enter their office. Front desk staff is always smiling and folks in the back know their jobs perfectly. Sophie, the beautiful little canine greeter ignores me BUT that makes her special and I love her for that. Ive never had a bad experience with anyone. Dr. Nicolls is always on time and cares very much about your pain level (if any) and how everything went. Wish all Doctors were like her. And, Im a doctor! I have been a patient of Dr. Nicolls for over 6 years, and have always been treated with warmth and kindness from the entire staff. Though I have not seen the staff outside the office, I always feel as though I am visiting with friends when I arrive for any dental needs. MaryLou has been my dental hygienist while I have been there, and has always made my experience the best it can be with her kindness. Farewell MaryLou, I hope California will love you as much as Asheville! I highly recommend Dr. Nicolls for your dental needs if you want to feel comfortable going to the dentist, and want have a good experience. Not to mention, Dr. Nicolls and the staff know what they are doing!

After being a patient of Dr. Nicolls for a couple of years, I called to make an appointment for a broken crown. I was told, in a very nice way, that I was not wealthy enough to continue being a patient with Dr. Nicolls. I was informed that to be seen for my broken crown, I would have to agree to a full evaluation to the tune of $300. I have never had any problem paying my dental bills, despite not having insurance, I just cant see spending hundreds of dollars for someone to tell me what I need done in my mouth. I am hoping to find a new dentist that remembers what its like to have to watch your budget.

I am very satisfied with the dental services received at the office of Dr. Kani Nicolls. Dental services are not necessarily my preferred services, but everyone in Dr. Nicolls office was so friendly and treated me with so much care, concern and so professionally, it really made a visit to the dentist a pleasure! This office does the job. I just cant say anything more than that. They cancelled my appointment the day before but couldnt get me back in for a month. Ridiculous. On top of the the constant need for additional expensive tests, x-rays, every year just makes this place too expensive. The entire vibe the office provides is all about the money and no discounts for cash pay patients that dont have insurance. Im going elsewhere.

I am always greeted with smiles every time I have an appointment. My 4 year old and 2 year old love going to the dentist. Thats not normal, but its because they treat kids so well and make it fun for them so they love going here.
