Excellent doctor and staff. Not in a hurry, intensely focused and professional with a sense of caring that seems rare - like you are a VIP and valuable patient who is personally important to him. Exceptionally knowledgeable, quick thinking, calm and confident although not the least bit arrogant. Staff also excellent, efficient, personable and professional. Seems to be offering those services most commonly needed in his community for early detection and therefore will likely enable intervention-preventive activities. Highly recommend him and staff (however, you might want to get involved soon as he is likely to be in high demand when he is more fully discovered as I believe his is a relatively new local practice -- although he has an extensive teaching and practice background that is substantial.)

Addressing comments by ladipeachable, I am a long time patient of Dr. Irfan, and his hesitation to shake your hand has to do with his religious beliefs, so dont take it the wrong way. Please do some research before labeling him with this prejudice. Now, as far as my review; I find him to be a very qualified physician who actually has the best interest in mind for his patients. Out of all the doctors that I have seen in various cities across the US, he is the only one who would encourage me to fight illnesses by strengthening my immune system rather than taking those pain numbing pills. Two thumbs up for Dr. Irfan!

Dr. Syed does not treat people of color (blacks specifically) with respect. He refused to shake my hand and during my visit I couldnt ignore how short and annoyed he seemed by my presence. However I noticed how his demeanor completely changed with his other non black clients and staff. Needless to say I will NOT return and am appalled at this sort of bigotry especially as an alleged professional in the medical field. Steer clear!
