If you are considering Dr.Levin, expect: (1) To wait well beyond your scheduled appt start time - I routinely had to wait 40mins to 2 hrs while he worked through a backlog (on 3 occasions) (2) A cold personality with very poor bedside manner - He made little to no attempt to make me feel comfortable, and only explained his findings and his suggested path forward when pursued for details (3) Hit and miss surgery skills - He failed to remove a small cyst from my shoulder after 3 attempts. Each time he performed surgery on it, he ended up making it bigger and look worse. Now its transformed into a mass of scar tissue that Im going to need to see a plastic surgeon to have corrected. If I didnt think this should have been a quick easy procedure, I would never have given him a second or third opportunity. (4) Bring your wallet - Dr.Levin charges premium prices & requires payment in full before you leave, leaving it to you to file for your insurance reimbursement (because his prices are so high) - At the end of the day, I paid more than $600 for a procedure that he failed to complete properly. Also, beware... After you think youve paid the full amount, his office sends on additional charges through a 3rd party lab. Last time I got hit with another $50 charge which I was not informed of in advance.

Dont forget youre paying for parking during your long wait. The 3 people in the waiting room with me all had the same appt. time. My son went in for quite a few problems. The lady that asked questions before the dr. came in had no personality and we had to repeat everything she asked 2-3 times. When the dr. finally came in it felt like such an effort for him to even introduce himself. He asked what are you here for and I told him, he kept saying what else, what else.........He took a knife looking thing and reached over and scaped a piece of skin off one of the places on my sons stomach without any warning. Then he talked so fast, wrote precriptions, picked up this big black fire hydrant looking thing and started spraying it in my sons face. My son was wiggling around and he said STOP SQUIRMING, this wont hurt you. Then walks out of the room. I asked the person who stood in there with him, what was that he just sprayed in my sons face and she said liquid nitrogen for acne. He never told us this is what he was doing. What a horrible experience for an adult much less a child!! He spent 3 minutes with us. RUSH! RUSH! RUSH! I DONT recomend this dr. to anyone. He gives dermotology a bad name. He and his staff should be ashamed of the way they treat people!!! I was totally shocked.

Dr. Levin is the BEST Dermatologist in Atlanta. I have been seeing Dr. Levin since I moved back to Atlanta (17 years ago) and when I lived here in the 80s his beloved father was my Dermatologist. When for a short period my insurance was not taken by his practice, he went out of his way to make accommodation for me (even removed a mole for a minimal fee) until I was able to switch to a plan accepted by his practice. He is a BRILLIANT doctor, but is also no nonsense. If you want to be treated with kid gloves and want to be petted - he is NOT your guy. I find his warm but blunt manner rather refreshing, and believe that it has led to accurate diagnosis, and he has suggested up-to-date treatment plans.. He has resisted overtures from large medical groups - which is why he can still provide the highly specialized care that he does. He balances the former with always being concerned about patient wait times. I love Dr. Levin and his entire staff.

Fraudulent billing practices. I have insurance and when came time to leave they said that they knew exactly what my insurance company would pay and wanted me to pay the difference in the office. We set up payment arrangements and they mailed me a copy of the bill. The bill had services that I had not requested on it. Even stated that I had a surgery which I never authorized a surgery. The business manager told me that the exfoliant that the doctor gave me, which the doctor asked me if he could spray me with was a surgery. I did not go to the office for acne, i went for a rash. When I talked to my insurance company regarding the bill, they stated that it didnt seem right and the total they said that I was responsible for was $35.00 less than what the business manager told me. I do NOT recommend going to this office.

I have been to his office twice for a simple cyst on my eye lid. He did 2 surgeries, both unsuccessful and made it even worse. The first time, he couldnt even inject the needle right and I felt his knife and scream when he was cutting my eye lid. He could have made a better career if he was a butcher. Then I had to go to another "real" doctor to fix what he wasnt able to. Ah, one addition, he follows up with his patience for only extra bills that were not asked when you were in the office. So my advice to you, DO NOT GO to this doctor, DO NOT TRUST his analysis or treatment.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Levin. Hes been effective in treating my precancerous skin cells & is extremely nice. I had what I thought was an abnormal dent on one side of my nose and he said not to be so self conscious and that they are not only common they are completely normal. I would recommend him to anyone.

After seeing 3 doctors for what I thought was a simple infection as the result of a bug bite, I finally was referred to Dr. Levin. He and his PA, Taylor, diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. I cannot ay enough good about Dr. Levin and his entire staff. Ann

I would rate this office at 0 if I could! Extremely QUESTIONABLE (not to say made up) pricing of visits/procedures. Doctors are as good as any other doctors (nothing special). LONG WAITS! Parking is NOT validated!
