Dr. Serrano was great. I had been dis-satisfied with explanation of my visual problems from my now-former eye doctor. The amount of time he spend with me, getting to the bottom of what was going, was incredible. Really surprising and good. He did a lot of testing that went well beyond the standard "read this line, is this sharper or is this sharper". I feel as if he truly understood me as a person, and listened to me--he didnt treat me as just another patient in-and-out-the-door-thank-you. Staff was great, it was easy to make an appointment and I like that I could fill out all the paperwork online before the appointment. For the first time since 1988, when I had an RK, I am going to get glasses and, instead of saying "oh, getting older

I started seeing Dr. Serrano a long time ago before he moved to his current location on Clairmont. Because he moved, I started seeing other doctors that was more convenient to home or work. In doing that I have not been getting the best treatment for my eyes or vision. I went back to Dr. Serrano and he remembered what he suggested for me 4 years ago since my last visit with him. He got me back on track and I promised I will never stray again. He is very thorough, made sure I understood everything and took his time with me during the exam.

Michael Serrano is a wonderful optometrist. He is very knowledgeable and evaluated my children with patience and a good sense of humor. He was able to detect a vision problem that one of my children has and will need extra help with. Undetected this would have caused many complications and treatment will certainly improve her ability to learn how to read and study better. I am thankful for Mr. Serrano and the unhurried approach he took with each of my children to evaluate them properly and make sure nothing was missed.

Amazing...that is the word that describes this whole practice. When other doctors said there was no hope, Dr. Serrano and his staff said lets keep trying and now our son has gained some of his vision back with therapy! They have moved locations and are not on Memorial drive anymore.
