I started going to Ark Hospital about 3 years ago. We bring our 2 cats and dog here. They always have time to see my animals and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. They are very professional and I have never had any issues with them. Their costs are so much less than other vet hospitals(and I know this because I have tried a few)..I recommend this business to anyone who has animals and need a vet. They send me email reminders and post cards to let me know which of my 3 pets are due for something. My dog had a back problem a year and half ago and they treated her(she couldnt even walk)she was 4 at the time...between the treatments and medicine and weekly visits she recovered almost 100%. The staff is patient as I am trying to pay and my dog is pulling her leash, and they are just super friendly. It took me 6 years of living here and trying 4 different vets, but they really know what they are doing and I feel good knowing my pets are healthy and being seen by such top vets. One thing I also like is that they will spend as much time with you answering any questions you have,,not rushed in and out like most vets...and I cannot state enough they are way cheaper than other vets....even grooming, which they do a beautiful job..my dog smells nicer for a longer period of time after she comes home from them...we gave them a chance after being ripped off and ignored by many vets over the years....try them out, you wont be disappointed!

I cant recommend this place anymore. The ownership changed a couple of years ago and I stuck with them for the convenience of the location and the fact that they dont make you wait a long time like most other clinics do, even if you have an appointment. But the personality of the vets now is pretty lackluster. They rush you in and out, which is nice if youre in a hurry, but not so nice if youre not. They dont even give you the checkup reports anymore like they used to when Dr Townshend owned the place. She was a great vet too and had a lot of helpful advice. This new guy, Jeff Wit, hes a man of few words. Ill just leave it at that. The prices are much higher now too. They are on par with some of the busiest clinics in the area. I guess that wouldnt be so if they didnt outsource a lot of the stuff that the larger places do in-house. Even if you bring in your pets own stool sample, they still charge you for that anyway now. The groomer that the other reviewer was talking about is gone now too. I agree though, she was great. They wont cooperate with your online pharmacies either. I dont plan on returning. Ill probably go out of my way to go up to Oakwood to see Dr. Townshend instead (the former owner) at her other location if she still owns that one.

I took my 16 year old chihuahua o ARC on 5/22/2015 because he was crying hoping to get some medication to calm him down $354.70 later they told me ha had a bladder infection and that I could get calming medication at petco.i bought a couple of meds at petco neither worked Taco was up all night crying so n the 23 I took him to another vet which told me that he had a serious infection due to his age any procedure extremely dangerous but he could survive on pain meds not wanting to see Taco suffer any more the Dr suggested we put him to sleep. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET STAY AWAY FROM ARC THEY HAVE NO CLUE ON TREATING ANIMALS.

Brought in my 4 year old ASBT for an exam it was determined that she is most likely pregnant. The doctor was very thorough in checking over everything with my dog. She took her time and made sure to give me as much information as possible. I then called the office 3 days later to ask a couple questions, since the doctor informed me to call if there were any changes with her or anything that seemed out of the ordinary. She asked an abundance of questions and seemed genuinely concerned. I didnt feel rushed or that I was being a nuisance. I would definitely recommend this vet, she actually cares about the animals.

I wouldnt trust any other vets office to care for my dog Tyson. He recently hurt his back and I took him straight to Ark. They were soooo great. They made him comfortable and ran all the test that they could to determine what was wrong with him. Carrie was so amazing. She even stayed over night with him to keep him calm so that he wouldnt further injure himself until we were able to get him in to the see the surgeon. Without Ark and Carrie I dont believe that he would have made it though the night. I would recommend Ark to all my family and friends.

This was my staple vet for years, and Im unsure of when ownership/veterinarian changed but I can tell you the price has gone up and the service down. I have never felt so rushed at an office before! Went back one more time to rule out a fluke, exact same treatment. The personalized service is gone. I would not recommend to anyone.

Very expensive for what you receive in return been going to this location for over eleven years many changes have occurred not all for the best for the consumer. Currently looking for a better alternative.
