I used another vet near Chateau Elan for a long time and always felt they were always in it for the $$. For example, my two dogs (Pavlov and Guinness) were each 15. They were drinking a TON of water and panting non-stop, so the vet ordered a full liver work-up, etc etc. In the end, it was all inconclusive and cost me a TON of money. They still seemed comfortable prescribing several medications. ~12 months ago, I switched to Pet Care Associates. I went to them with a similar problem and the vet looked right at me and told me “Your dogs are 16… they are going to have problems like this. We can put them through a ton of tests, prescribe a bunch of meds… or we can just keep them happy for the time we have ‘em.” They were fantastic. It was really refreshing! The vet actually cried when they put my girls to sleep. They do probably 20 of those per week and still care enough to cry. Pretty strong in my book… They even made a little clay paw impressions. They really do seem to care a lot. So – yes, that is my VERY strong recommendation. I will be going back as soon as I get another dog! ...but, no, Im not ready yet.

I highly recommend Pet Care Associates. They have been caring for my pets for eight years and I have always had complete confidence my pets are getting the best care possible. I am always greeted with a friendly face and my pets are welcomed as if they are part of the family. Both Dr. Cox and Dr. Dodson take the time to thoroughly explain things so that an informed decision can be made when needed and I never feel rushed. Their fees are very reasonable and they make every effort to keep costs down. I recently needed a very expensive medicine, and they made several phone calls until they found a compounding pharmacy that could provide the medicine at a significantly lower price. Everyone at Pet Care has always been kind, caring, loving and compassionate and treated my pets as if they were their own. They are the best!

This review is long overdue because we took our dog here for a couple of years now. Dr. Cox and his staff are excellent. Weve used other vets in the area but none compare to Dr. Coxs compassion and knowledge. He takes his time with you at each visit to explain things and answer questions. Ashley is also so thoughful and remembers your pet (and you) at each visit. Not one staff member has ever been anything but kind and friendly. Their pricing is also very reasonable and I have never felt that I overpaid for a visit- ever. Although our sweet Bella is no longer with us, this is the only vet practice I will ever use for future needs. Thank you Dr. Cox and staff for being everything a pet owner would ever hope for in a vet practice and more.

Bait & switch pricing practiced here. Very disappointing!!! I brought my Great Dane here to have his anal glands expressed. They told me $20 on the phone. Then charged me $62. What makes this especially bad is that I was clear that I needed my dog tended to on a budget today. If they would have been honest with me about the cost of this visit, I would NOT have come today. Congrats Pet Care Associates on getting your extra $42. I hope it was worth losing my business consisting of 4 pets. DISAPPOINTING!!!!! I am so angry right now.

These guys are the best, hands down. Honest to a fault, helpful beyond belief. I was recommended to them by a neighbor when I moved to the area and they have been beyond great from day one. Even on a Saturday afternoon when they were about to close on of my dogs was bitten or stung on the face and having a hard time breathing. No problem, they took her in and fixed her up even after hours. Hands down one of the best vets I have had the pleasure of dealing with ever.

They have cared for our 3 Pomeranians through some very serious illnesses! Their staff is awesome and always make you feel welcome and are ready to help in any way they can. Had my Lab in today for her yearly check up. The staff and Dr were very nice and efficient in getting us in and out in short order. Had a great value on heart worm and flea and tick medicine they told me about and with a 50.00 off coupon. Really like the staff and Dr and will continue using them in the future I recommend them for all your pet needs.

I would not recommend anyone to Pet Care Associates. I went there for a possible job and after working all day I never heard anything back, when I called to follow up I was sent in every which way direction. No one would tell me striaght up yes or no. I wouldnt bring my babies to a fecility where theyre not honest people.

I feel very comfortable taking my pets to Pet Care Associates. All of the staff I have encountered has been genuine and kind. The vet tech and the doctor took time and asked lots of questions to try and get to the root of the issue that we had been having with our cat. I would recommend this Vet to any of my friends.

Dr. Cox and staff are always professional and provide the best service for my dog, Tripp. It takes a lot to handle my weimaraner but the staff at Pet Care Associates are always up for the task! I highly recommend them!
