DO NOT GO HERE! - their care quality is very average and their pricing is WAY HIGH. I am not cheap when it comes to vet care... My dogs first cancer treatment was about $17,000 (not at the village vets) and her second cancer treatment was $7,000. She had other treatments amounting to more than $100,000 in her 16.5 years of life. I loved my baby girl more than my own life and would have spent anything to help her. My point is that I understand the value of vet care and that an MRI for a dog costs the same or more than an MRI for a human. I dont mind reasonable vet prices. The Village Vets prices are not reasonable. They are almost a scam in how inflated their prices are. I took one of my pets there and paid $600 for something that should have cost no more than $300. Saving money matters because if your baby is sick, it could cost thousands to save them. You could waste all the money you have to help your baby on the Village Vets excessive prices. Dont go here.

What an amazing veterinary clinic! They really treat us and our pets like family. The Dr didnt even hesitate to share her cell number when I was concerned following a surgery. I appreciated the phone call following up to let us know it went well. The staff knows us and our pets by name, and I appreciate the specialties of the different doctors: some dealing with diet, other behaviours, etc. They really are able to cover all the bases, including indigent care. Maybe most of all, I appreciate how involved they are in this community. It isnt often I see an event where they arent a sponsor. From the local schools, to the community festivals, this business really stands out. Thanks to you all for helping to make Lilburn great. I cannot even imgaine such events occuring, as stated by previous post. Not saying it didnt happen, I just havent EVER experienced anything remotely inadequate at this clinic.

MY DOG IS IN SEVERE PAIN! I will start by saying that initially, I received fair service after negotiating the price down (required me to pay for vaccinations still within their time period). My family dog had a severe cut to his inner thigh and they stitched him up and installed a drain. Two days later, the drain "disappeared" and we brought him in. While in the waiting area, the wound began to bleed and they found that the stitches had torn. They charged us to staple it shut and for a longer e-collar because they assumed he opened the wound himself (no way!). One day later, the drain disappeared again but they said not to worry as they left the wound open at the end to drain. Now the wound is open AGAIN and looks like it may not be able to restitch this time. I will update on 9/21/11 and delete if they decide to fix him at no additional costs and ensure this will not happen again.

Love this clinic. I was hesitant to try the Lilburn/Stone Mountain location even though it is much closer to my house, as my dogs have seen (and absolutely loved) Dr. Doss at the Decatur location for many, many years. Finally made the switch as my older dog was needing to be seen more often. My pups now see Dr. Irish and she is absolutely amazing. She will spend as much time as needed, never minds that I email her a million questions, and always gives me all my options. One of my dogs is getting up there in age and the other has some medical issues. Between the two of them, I seem to be emailing her nonstop. She is always patient, answers all of my questions, and genuinely seems to care about my babies. Wouldnt go anywhere else. As others have stated, this place is not cheap. With that being said, you get what you pay for.

I run a daycare in Midtown Atlanta and have had a whole host of Veterinary experiences, but after this week I will certainly never go anywhere else. I personally take my wolfhound puppy into this location to get weighed once a week, which I am sure could be irritating, but the staff here have never shown anything, but love for my dog. This week I offhandedly asked the receptionist about a small health concern with my pup, and she immediately went and got Dr. Tyler, who then performed an exam in the lobby to squash my concerns. I was blown away at this level of attentiveness and care for a dog that doesnt even go to her personally (we normally see the wonderful Dr. Stacy at Village Vets Decatur). These Veterinarians set a whole new standard of care, that other practices should learn from.

We have been going to the Village Vets for about 10 years. As rescue parents with an overflowing household of fur, Dr. Fran especially, and all her staff have always been very understanding of our desire for our pets well-being while trying to save as much money as possible (to rescue more animals!) They follow up, know our animals by sight, and treat us with compassion and without judgement as we work together to figure out the most affordable way to keep them all healthy and happy. Even though we have since moved about 45 minutes in the opposite direction from them, I would not dream of going anywhere else. My only complaint about Village Vets is that there is no North Gwinnett office.... yet!

We recently had to put down our sweet dog Buck who had cancer and the service we got at Village Vets was above and beyond what we could have imagined. They understood how difficult it was to let our baby go and they were so caring, understanding, and comforting I will always appreciate what they did for our grieving family. I cant imagine going anywhere else now with our pets. This is a great facility with a lot of compassionate people working there.

I walked in on a Sunday afternoon, and they were so welcoming. They were attentive, offered refreshments, and continued to check on me as I waited. The doctor was wonderful, super sweet, and went above and beyond in caring for my old girl. They worked with my budget and there were no unpleasant surprises for me. I highly recommend their service, they were some of the best Ive seen in the business.

I cant say enough good things about the care I get at Village Vets Stone Mountain. I just love Dr. DeLong, & Dr. McColgan. They are compassionate, thorough, brilliant, and I never feel rushed when I bring my dogs to them. I wish my own doctor was that good! Thanks for the great care and concern always. Susan Smith, Sandy and Toby p.s. (Sorry the staff is awesome too! love them!!!)

I have worked with the village vets over six years. And will always go back to them for their care of my beloved pets. I have to say they have the best quality of care and my cat is 17 years old now in and outdoor cat. Never would have made that far if it wasnt for the great devoted doctors their. Sadly I had to put my beautiful four legged son down Wednesday

Dr. McColgan and all the wonderful people at Village Vets (Stone Mountain location) could not do any more to care for pets and owners. Dr. McColgan is highly skilled and naturally talented for the job she chose to do. Most of all, all the people at Village Vets make everyone part of their family. Thank you for everything!
