When my family first started to see Dr. Rashid we loved seeing him and the office staff but now the office staff that was there is all gone now and the new people are rude. My husband called them this morning to be seen because we think he has shingles and she told him he would have to wait until Monday to be seen and when he went to explain how much pain he was in and couldnt wait until Monday they hung up on him. That was the most unprofessional way to handle his call. I waited 20 minutes and called to see if I could be seen to get my diet pills prescription and to get a shot and they had no problem making me an appointment for that. I dont understand how a doctors office wont see sick people when they are sick but can see people who want to lose weight. I have been a patient of his since his practice opened and now my family will be looking for a new family doctor.

Unprofessional. Nurses at family medical are receptionist. In the receptionist office the "nurses keep their drinks and food in their as well, so when they are doing paper work they eat their meals as well. The office isnt technologically up to date. The Doctors office is run down and old what you would expect if you were living in the 1990s, I got a physical checkup- urine test done, heart blood pressure test done, but an EKG I really didnt need that. EKGs or only supposed to be checked for 48 year olds and up not required, nurse did EKG anyways. Doctor Haroon doesnt check you thoroughly during the physical checkup. He doesnt check your oxygen level, or your body temperature. He doesnt ask you any questions about your past if you have any medical problems. He was just another doctor who wanted to get his job done to get paid.

Dr. Rashid saved my husbands life! My husband has always been active in his routine/annual health checks. After relocating to GA in 2012 (he had his last physical in April 2012 in NJ - with same group he had been going to for 20 years) we sought out a new family doctor. In April 2013 Dr. Rashid asked if he had ever had any heart issues (no he hadnt - so we thought). Dr. Rashid obviously noted his file because in April of 2014 after his next physical Dr. Rashid sent him to a cardiologist. Needless to say he had open heart surgery a year ago - the doctor at St. Joes said he was a ticking time bomb and that he was lucky that his family doctor was paying attention! He had a congenital issue that obviously no doctor before had recognized.

Thank God for this doctor. He has always taken great care of me for many years and recently I was very sick probably ready for the hospital and he got me through the snow storm and then his care at his office yesterday is healing me along with God of course :-) Thanks and love the new staff!

Its not much to look at from the outside but the doctor is awesome. I have a lot of health issues and its hard to find a doctor who is willing to help me, but he was very understanding and helpful.

Great and caring Doctor. I will always use him. He is great, friendly and will actually listen to your issues unlike most doctors in the area.
