This was my first visit to a doctor in quite some time. I had an excellent first experience with this office as a walk-in urgency at 8 am on a Monday morning when they first open. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. I did not see Dr. Van Laar but my husband has in the past. Jodi is who I saw and she was very kind, concerned and informed. She took her time to explain her answers and ensure that I understood. It was a quick in and out (in under an hour) and this was not an appt. The office was busy too :) We have had great experiences so far with this doctors office. They understand the value of your time right down to getting refill prescriptions. Anytime I have called the ladies that answer the phone have been nice and helpful. Anything from referrals, appts to re-fills. No run around with this office. They will get you what you need to feel better when you need it!

First let me say that Dr. Van Laar is very a nice man who actually takes the time to listen to his patients. Jodi is wonderful as well. Ive never had to wait very long to see either. Its nice to be in need of help and actually have professionals there to give it. That being said, the ladies at the desk are not up to par. Every time I call to make appointments or inquire about office related visits, I am met with annoyed attitudes. Simple questions are ignored and they always act as if they are too busy to deal with you. Today I was even hung up on in the middle of a sentence. I like the doctors but cannot stand the staff. I will not be going back due to the poor customer service Ive received on multiple occasions.

If there was such a thing as a negative 25, I would rate him. Moving from Fla, Dr van last was referred to me. One visit was enough. The man was rude, tired and prejudice!!! He touched my skin with his two fingers as if I were a dirty diaper. He displayed no bedside manners, conversation as less as possible. Upon entering the office there was a sign stating...IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DRUG THIS IS NOT THE PLACE GET OUT QUICK! How ignorant and unprofessional !! My skin was the wrong color. Quite an experience!!!
