I had some issues with this place early on. After being misinformed and receiving in writing something different than what was told me verbally, I started recording all interactions. (In their defense, they did write something up later on to match what they said.) Some of the issues were addressed but they refused to address, and even defended, the others: 1. Dr. Jabaley told me he sees nothing wrong with being told one thing but receiving something else in writing. MAJOR RED FLAG! He told me because I pointed out that they told me Id pay absolutely nothing for a warranty replacement but received in writing that I am responsible for shipping, that they would now start charging ALL patients for shipping and handling...because as I said, "Writing trumps verbal." (Later, the office manager said they will not.) 2. I was misinformed about the lenses and their coatings. I believe this was an honest mistake, but I believe professionals have a duty to their customers to give accurate info about the products they sell. It would have been nice if he at least apologized for misinforming me. 3. Instead of apologizing, Dr Jabaley defended his employee for misinforming me and not being able to answer my questions about the lens coatings. He told me it is an impossible question, that nobody can tell me what they are made of because it is a patented secret. It turned out this was just a lie because I found the info online. 4. Dr. Jabaley was very upset throughout the whole discussion because of my bad review. He accused me of being passive aggressive, mean-spirited, and lying. I asked him several times what I lied about. He never would answer my question; he just kept telling me how mean and un-Christian I am for leaving a bad review. 5. The office manager addressed some of my issues with a letter but refused to address the major issues that I am listing here. She accused me of saying "Everyone in your office is a liar." I asked her when I said such a thing and she refused to acknowledge my question. I want to make it clear that I never said that and I that Tara (front desk) and Derek (glasses and lens) are great people and I do not think they would lie to anyone. 6. It took 31 days to receive the right glasses. I insisted that the first pair was wrong and went back multiple times. The office manager says their policy is to recheck if the customer really feels the prescription is incorrect but that is simply not true. I was turned away and told to wear the glasses (even though the left lens made my vision WORSE than without glasses) for 2 weeks before the Dr. would see me again. ------- I spoke with the Dr. about my issues. He refused to answer my questions, criticized me, and let his pride get in the way of the truth. I wrote a letter to try to clear things up. I received a response letter that criticized me and addressed the small issues but neglected the important ones. I wrote a second letter that made it clear what issues were still remaining. Instead of responding to the issues I listed, the office manager said, "your issues have been resolved," and "I feel ok with the time it took." It has become clear that honesty and accountability is not something the manager or the Dr. care about. I suspect they will deny this, so feel free to contact me for a copy of what they said...Like I said, I recorded all interactions (post 2nd visit) with these guys.

Dr. Jabley and his staff are AMAZING!! The late Monday appointment hours are perfect for my family schedule. Derek is honest and very good at picking out glasses that work perfectly for everyones style and face shape. The ladies in the front office are kind and helpful when you have a request. Tanya is knowledgeable about Field Vision Screenings (an eye test common for people with an Autoimmune Disease) and also very helpful with advice on how to work on your vision. As for Dr. Jabley, he is a caring doctor. He listens to you and he also does not push you into buying extra services or anything you dont feel comfortable with just to make a dollar. He is honest and has a great manner with patients! I am so happy we were introduced to his office and will be life long patients!

This was my first eye exam in 7+ years. Dr Jabaley was top notch. He was very informative , This office has a great staff, they are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have recommend them to my family and I look forward to doing future eye-care needs with his office. They fully answered and verified the request I had made as far as options for my Glasses. They gave me a break down of the cost and what each added option was. I highly recommend Mountain Eye Clinic. Thanks again to Dr Jabaley and Staff.

Very disappointing after picking up my first pair of glasses .. Having never wore glasses I was looking for good communication about what I needed as well as what I wanted. However upon picking up my glasses I was disappointed to find that my request for transition lens had not been noted in my initial visit and was informed for the additional full cost my lens could be redone.. Not my fault I dont put the notes in the file.. So be very clear on what u want before you leave from initial visit ...
