I took my healthy 15 month old Great Dane here to get him neutered and got a call the next day that they found him dead in the morning. I spoke with the Vet, Dr. Wallin who was very defensive, and didnt bother to apologize. I went by to pick up his body, so I could bury him at home. At that time I spoke to the office manager who told me the owner had agreed to pay to replace my dog. After several months, when I was ready to get another dog, I contacted her and was told that I was mistaken and that they had never said that. One of the most horrible experiences of my life!

You will not find a more compassionate and friendly staff at any other vet office. Their prices are very fair and the treatment cannot be beat. When my puppy injured his eye and it had to be removed, I was traumatized but the receptionist, tech and Dr. Helvie were so empathetic and assured me he would be ok. They cared for him just as we would. They truly love the pets they care for. We have also boarded our puppy with them several times and he is always very well cared for. Definitely would not consider going anywhere else!

Ive taken my dog here her whole life. She broke her leg and was in a cast for four months. Dahlonega animal hospital helped every single step of the way and was extremely supportive. Dr. Helvie (who Ive regularly visited) has been incredible. Rachel has also been very helpful!
