First time I have ever had to walk out of an animal hospital. After being rude and insulting to us (the doctor actually laughed at me for giving Childrens Zyrtec to my cat for allergies), the doctor left us in the room and did not return. We waited 15 minutes before leaving. While we waited, the vet tech came in to check on us (get billing info from us) and picked up a dirty swab from the counter and placed it back into the clean swab jar. I almost puked. Never been treated so rudely by a vet before. She had absolutely no interest in helping our cat, or listening to what my wife or I had to say and had absolutely no affection towards my cat....simply wanted our billing info and to get us out of there as fast as possible. Unbelievable... and I will continue to warn people about this clinic. If you love your animals, take them elsewhere please.

Terrible experience! It was my first time to visit Abbott Animal Hospital and they charged $144 (for 2 dogs) for the only exam fee. I cant believe the exam fee is $72 for each dog. One of my dogs has elbow problem and Dr. Oh took care of it very well. But, another dog had just bug bite on his leg and they just gave us Cephalexin. Then they charged $72 for exam and $22.40 for the pill for one dog. So, I visited another animal hospital in Suwanee, GA and they didnt charge anything for the exam because it was the first visit. And their exam fee was around $50. Anyway, I called the Abbott Animal Hospital again to make sure the fee is correct. and they said $72. Do you guys think this is a reasonable price? I want my money back but I dont know what to do. I was so disappointed and shocked regarding the exam fee.

I cant begin to express how much we appreciate Dr. Oh and her wonderful staff. They literally saved both our cats lives, one from the result of eating a string, and the other from extreme hyperglycemia (almost comatose) due to IBS and diabetes. In the case of the latter, Dr. Oh had previously diagnosed our cat with diabetes and helped us stabilize his glucose levels with insulin and diet. Then, after his scare with hyperglycemia she helped diagnose his IBS and worked with us to find a combination of medication and diet that has him giving excellent blood work and no GI issues. Also, they are a great place to board your pets, especially if they need medication. When we boarded our diabetic cat, they gave him such amazing personal care. Thank you AAH for 6+ years of outstanding service!

We have been going to Abbott Animal Hospital for 30 years. Dr. Ohs father was our first vet when we moved to Gwinnett. For many years he took care of our dogs and cats. There have been many over the years. Now we have another Dr. Oh and she has been taking care of our babies since her dad retired. We love Dr. Oh, Jeff and the rest of the staff and so do our pets. My dog loves going to the vet. All the typical vet needs are met, we get our prescription food there, boarding when we need it (great nature trails) and grooming. In fact both our current animals are due for their physicals now, my dog is 14 (labrador) and my cat is approaching 20 and they are just now starting to show their age. They are well loved and taken care of at home and at the vet.

I was disappointed with my pets veterinary services until I found Abbott Animal Hospital. Dr Oh and staff have always been so professional and caring from grooming, routine care and special care for my diabetic dog. He can be a handful and uncooperative but Dr Oh and staff still see to his needs without fail and has worked with me to stabilize his condition with treatment and diet. Im so thankful to have someone so dedicated. She has even taken her personal time to check in and communicate concerning his needs. (Weekends and nights)

These are very caring people with the same concern and respect for your animals that you have. Your precious family members you entrust them with will immediately become a part of their family. From the minute I walked in the door to the time the helped me put my animals back in the car they were caring and understanding. Their tradition of excellent services and complete veterinarian knowledge is ingrained in every thing they do. We have been taking our animals to Abbott AH for as long as I can remember--all the way back when Dr. Sarahs dad was the Vet--that was 3 dogs and a multitude of cats ago. We were impressed then...and still are. They have always been very friendly to us and our animals. And the attention to cleanliness? Top notch! The counters, the pet exam table, the floor--in fact, the couple of times our pups have left a nervous puddle it was dealt with immediately and with full understanding that accidents happen. --Barry

Dr.Oh and her staff are great...She goes out of her way to take the best possible care for your pet and to keep you advised of all .procedures...Dr Oh has called at night to check on my dog, she is so kind and caring...the cost of care is wonderful as i am on a fixed income and know for sure that if i had the same things done somewhere else i would have been charged a lot more...so when you are looking for a vet who is excellent,caring an convenient...call the Abbott Animal Hospital you will be glad you did. .

I have had all good experiences with Abbott animal Hospital. the staff is amazing caring and considerate. Dr Oh is great as well as Jeff Laya and the rest of the staff. I have taken my dogs there for grooming too. Robert is very good. I never have trouble getting an appointment or help.I have also boarded my dogs with them . they are like family to them . I would recommend them to anyone which i have done. The office is very clean no odors there . .........give them a try you wont regret it.

We have used them for years. Dr Oh is very good with all of our dogs and cats. The staff is always willing to assist, and I find the pricing on the lower side compared with other local vets in the Tucker-Lilburn area. As with any practice with one practitioner on staff, sometimes timing is not as smooth as one would like. I am in a solo practice and I have the same issue occasionally. Overall, we have been very satisfied with Abbots. We will continue to use them.

My dog, Greta, normally does not trust strangers or men in particular, but she loved the staff at Abbott immediately. Dr. Oh and the staff at Abbott have a wonderful bedside manner with all animals. The staff always clipped her nails on every visit. For me, she resisted this every time and made me struggle. But for the staff at Abbott, she cooperated calmly. Abbotts prices are reasonable, while the service is superlative.

Over the past 20+ years, I have had 2 cats and 3 dogs who have been patients of Abbott Animal Hospital. All have lived w-a-y past their life expectancies, due in part Im convinced, to the excellent care they have received from Dr. Oh (and her father before her) and the staff. They are knowledgable and kind and provide personalized services above and beyond! I highly recommend Abbott Animal Hospital.
