I have been following Dr. Akstein since 1985 when he began treating my father. He is an incredibly talented physician. He is caring, attentive, compassionate, and provides the upmost quality medical care. I have seen other physicians over the years, but only because I was forced due to insurance. Each and every time I come running back to Dr. Akstein. There are other physicians in my area, but I drive 30 miles to see him. There is no one I trust more than him.

I have been a patient for about six years. Dr Akstein takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with my eyes. He did several laser treatments on one of my eye and while I was away from Atlanta and had to see another opthalmologist for an emergency issue, that doctor commented that the quality of the laser treatment was outstanding.
