I initially came to the Eye care place to get my prescription filled from another dr in the area. On my initial visit, I spoke to the optician. I told him that I had been to several eye places around town trying to find new glasses. I really just wanted to keep the frames I had and replace the lenses, but every eye care place told me that my insurance wouldnt pay just to replace the lenses, and also that my frame wouldnt work for progressive lenses, thus costing me a lot more money. The optician at The Eyecare Place told me that my insurance would most definitely pay for replacing my lens in my existing frame, and my glasses would work fine for progressive lenses. I have worn glasses for most of my life, and Chya is the first optician who has been honest with me about this issue. I really appreciate honesty. I understand businesses are in business to make money, but the fact that he told me the truth, and saved me money, means ALOT to me. The second thing that really impressed me about this business is the fact that after bringing in my prescription from another practice, and realizing the prescription was incorrect, not once, but three times, The Eyecare place took care of remaking my lenses two more times without charging me extra. After having the bad experience at the other dr.s office, I decided to take my business completely to The Eyecare place. They did an eye exam and I now have a new prescription. I know I am in good hands here. They truly care about their patients. I am happy to say that I am now an official patient at this office and I am happy that I switched.

Th staff is professional and thorough. They take the time to ensure the eye examine is correct and help you to find the frames. They got me the light-weight lenses to help with pressure on the nose. They would have used my own frames, but the ones they helped pick out were also light which is great! When ordering the glasses they took the time to ask about my life style to know which ones would work best for my case. I am older and in college which means I am in front of a computer most of the time. To compensate for this they made sure I got anti-glare protection. They are the best!

10 Stars would not be enough to rate my experience. When I say the visit was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere is so very warm and welcoming. The staff was personable, professional and platinum with the service rendered. Dr. Wilmot (I do believe there is no other) is so humble and filled with compassion. This is my EyeCare Place now. Thank all of you for such genuine and awesome treatment!

They were incredibly friendly and easy to work with. It had been just at 6 years since the last time I had new glasses. While I was waiting for my new glasses to come in my old ones broke. They found a set of frames my old lenses could go in and help me get something to cover til my new glasses arrived. They really care about their patients.

Staff were nice and as well as the doctor! I came to get my first eye exam in years as well as to ask about contacts. They answered all my questions and took care of my concerns as well. The person that helped me learn how to take care of contacts for the first time was very patient! Will definitely continue to come back!
