I made an appointment for a contact exam at Premier Eyecare around the beginning of January. When I called, I specifically said that I wanted contacts. I asked over and over to make sure that I would get a trial pair of contacts if I paid. I said that I didnt want to make an appointment if I did not. The girl reassured me that I would get a trial pair. I asked how much the exam was, and she said it would be $125. Keep in mind that I specifically said for contacts. My appointment was around 7:45 in the morning. I got there a little early. Despite the fact that no one was there besides me, it still took 45 minutes to an hour to take me back. Finally, I was taken back and an assistant did the pre-exam stuff for my eyes. Finally, I was taken to the room to see Dr. Fry. He came back there and started examining my eyes. I have always had astigmatism. He determined that I needed special contacts that were going to cost me $450 for a year supply. I have never paid that much for contacts, and I most certainly cannot afford it now. He started to order them for me without me saying yes, so I told him that I could not afford those. He automatically stopped the entire exam. After I told him that I would not be buying the contact lenses, he stopped, didnt fit me for contacts, and sent me out. I thought it was weird, but I went ahead and paid. Did I get those trial pair of contacts that I was promised? No. I paid, and I left. Later, I looked at the receipt, and I had been charged almost $170, and no one had given me a copy of my prescription. I had some personal stuff going on, so I didnt go back for about a month later to get my prescription. When I went, the girl was real nice and handed me a piece of paper with my prescription. I didnt think twice about it, and I went home to order contacts on 1-800-contacts. Well, the prescription would not work at all. I had another doctor look at the prescription, and I was told that it was a glasses prescription, not a contacts prescription. So I went back and asked them if I could get my contacts prescription that because thats what I had asked for and paid for. After going back and forth with Dr. Fry, the girl informed me that it was an additional $175 for a contacts fitting exam. I asked her if it would have been any different had this happened in January. She said no, it would have been the $125 + $175. It didnt hit me until I got home if that was the case, then why would they have not told me that the first time I called and made an appointment? I was VERY clear that I wanted a contacts exam. I wasnt even complaining about not getting my trial pair of contacts. I just wanted the prescription so I could buy contacts elsewhere. They knew from the beginning that I wanted contacts, and they didnt inform me of this til months later? So I paid all that money, and I cant get a prescription? Now they are telling me that I have this additional $175 JUST to get fitted!? Something is not right about that! Also, they said that they refunded some money from the $170 because they made an error when they charged me, but I never received notification of that. I gotta admit, those girls up front are real nice, so you wont notice anything sneaky. But they are trying to take money! So now Im out that money and still cant get contacts. What a ripoff!! Dont waste your time here!

I would like to take a moment and highlight the excellent job that all three ladies I met during my first office visit performed. My initial contact, after inquiring for an appointment via your website, was from Andrea, she also greeted me directly after entering the office on my appointment date. She was very pleasurable to speak with, and was very intentional in offering guidance throughout this process. While receiving my optical testing, Jessica administered these procedures and was very professional in both her care and her knowledge of the process. She answered all my questions without hesitation. Finally, I spent time with Heather, who was a real pleasure to work with. She modeled a wonderful example of how customer service should be displayed in this process. In addition, her product knowledge and explanation of insurance coverage was remarkable... she is a real asset to your practice. My doctor, Brent Fry, was also very knowledgeable and explained all the procedures and outcomes sufficiently. As you can tell by this note, I am a true believer of giving feedback in every service experience. I can definitely say that I am a completely satisfied customer of Premier Eyecare... thank you!

What a awesome Office & Staff! I went there to get new sunglasses and that involved a eye exam that was extremely thorough every thing was explained and it was a pleasant experience. They did not use the glaucoma machine that uses a puff of air, I know a lot of people dont like that test. I got the impression that if there was a new way to do it that is how they did it. What makes a place great? In my opinion its the staff and let me tell you they have an amazing staff, friendly and always smiling! I did get the impression that Dr. Fry was busy but he still took the time to talk to me and was very thorough. Also at first glance i did not think they had a big selection( I did need a new prescription) but after looking around I recognized that they had only the good stuff! If you want a great eye examine and awesome glasses this is the place for you! If you want to buy one pair and get two free for $100.00 this may not the right place for you.

My daughter had the misfortune of having my sisters dog eat her glasses. I did not know what I was going to do. I called who we use to go to and of course they could not get me in for over a month. I called let Premier Eyecare know and they got me in the same day. I was very relived my daughter was able to get in get her new glasses and ready to go within a couple of days. While there I went ahead made a appointment for myself and am very happy. The whole staff is great! From the front desk, to the people doing the pretesting, the Doctor, and then over to get our glasses everyone was great. Thank you again and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new optometrist this is the place to go.

When I went for my appointment I was very pleased. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I came in the door! The decor in the waiting area was very clean, comfortable and pretty. I did not have to wait very long before they called me back to start the appointment either. During my exam the Doctor was so nice and really made me feel comfortable during the process. I could tell that he was thorough and really cared about my eyes. Also, they have the some of the cutest frames! all in all it was a great experience, I love my new glasses and Im deffinately sending friend and family there.
