Im not from the Smyrna area and during a visit to a family member, my English bulldog had a severe allergic reaction. I called every vet in their area and was told a ton of excuses about not being able to see my dog for a few days or inability to accept new patients. I called this office and to my surprise they saw me that day, as soon as I could get my dog there. The veterinarians assistant was so sweet to my nervous dog and took his time to examine her. The veterinarian, Dr. Tison, was the nicest and most informative vet Ive ever visited. He addressed all my concerns and made very detailed instructions on how to care for my pup. Also, their price was half their competitors. Im so greatful for this office and would recommend to anyone in search of a knowledgable and affordable vet. Dr. Tison even called me two days later to check in on my baby, he is incredible! Dont hesitate to visit this office!

Dr. Tyson is wonderful! I went to him on the recommendation of a friend whos family has been going to him since before he was with this group. When my previous dog started having unknown health issues as she got older, he took the time to have an honest conversation about testing/procedures/treatments, the cost of them and the pros and cons of them. When she needed antibiotics, he gave me the prescription and told me to take it to Publix where I could get it filled for free. When it came time to let Josie go, he was there every step of the way, and you could tell he was affected by the loss (he even teared up). When he comes in to see a dog, he will actually get down on the ground to talk to them. I have another dog now and I continue to make the 45 minute drive to see him. He is one of a kind and has such a wonderful way of connecting with dogs.

My wife and I have three cats and one was recently diagnosed as a diabetic. When we werent exactly happy with the confidence of the vet we were was going to when the diabetic cat was diagnosed, the Cumberland Animal Clinic was recommended to us through a friend of friend. We see Dr. Bird and she is absolutely wonderful, and very knowledgeable. You can really tell that she cares. The entire staff there is friendly and the clinic is immaculate. They also have computer monitors in the check up rooms where they can look up your pets records on the fly. They really have it together there.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this clinic and Dr. Tison in particular. He was our dogs vet for 14 years. He was always attentive and listened to every concern I ever brought to him. When it was time to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Dr. Tison took the time to let us come in early, took his time with us and our dog, and helped us say goodbye. A couple of weeks later, I received notice that the clinic had made a donation to UGAs vet school in our dogs memory. I have been so touched by the generosity of spirit we experienced over the lifetime of our pet.

Dr. Tyson and the entire staff are the most caring group of people you will ever run across. We have had them take care of our children since 1998 and at every turn theyve been kind, caring, compassionate. Through good times and bad you will never ever meet a group of folks who love animals anymore than they do. They never try to push something on you or sell anything, they truly treat you like family Id give them 100 stars but this machine will only allow 5.

"cant take care of the patient because we dont have enough time..." we have been loyal patients for five years.. All we have done is rave about your services but now that we have an emergency you will not take care of our puppy because its 5:30 and you close at 6. Horrible.. This practice doesnt care about your pets wellbeing... Just about money which you were quickly to ask for. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS TO THIS BULLSH** CLINIC.

Cumberland has been there for me over the years many times, with many pets. They keep late hours, which is super helpful with emergencies!! Dr Fisher is an amazing doctor and person, as well as all the staff. They are more than just knowledgeable, they truly care and treat each client and pet on an individual basis, while maintaining a positive attitude and great service. So happy to have them in my neighborhood. : )

With two dachshunds nearly 13 years old, I spend a good amount of time in the vet. The staff at Cumberland is extremely friendly and Dr. Bird is one-of-a-kind: shes extremely genuine and sincerely cares for my pups, keeps their temperament in mind when advising certain treatments, and gives me different options so I can make the best decision based on my finances. Cumberland has my highest recommendation.

I have been coming to Cumberland Animal Clinic for over 18 years. Drs Tyson and DeHaven have been absolutely wonderful with the care of our fur babies. Their love for the profession shows each and every time we visit the clinic and their care with our dogs is if it were their own. They handle my boy so well. I have a cane corso, and hes a whole lotta love. The staff give him so much love and treats, that he gets excited for the vet. When we pull up, its embarrassing how excited he is. Kudos to Dr Tison. He helped me heal my boys gland issues by just changing his diet, while other vet offices were giving us expensive drugs and recommending surgery.

Had to see a new veterinarian cause Doc DeHaven sold the clinic, was just a minor issue with my golden. They cant/wont do old price match policy on meds so shopping online is your best bet specially for heartworm and flea meds. Wishing the best to Doc DeHaven - Digby and Stella will definitely miss you

I love this vet! They are so incredibly through with my 9 month old puppy and so helpful with trips on the best care for her age and training! All the veterinarians that have seen her have been so wonderful and accomodating! I would recommend them to everyone!

I wish I could give this place negative stars! I was told at 6:20 that I might be referred to emergency since it was so late. The place closes at 8. Front desk person was one of the most unpleasant people Ive ever been around.
