Amazing. Caring. Thorough. The veterinary care that our animals receive at Masterson is the best Ive ever experienced. My dog, Cali, was struck by a car Friday...a traumatic situation, to say the least. They rushed to get her stable and correct her collapsed lung and allow me to get her to the ER, where she stayed two days. Dr. Brighdam, Jared, Morgan and Anna were wonderful during the moments following the accident and were quick to follow up and call me over their holiday weekend to check on her. Dr. McGregor and the rest of the staff were wonderful, as always, this morning when following up with Cali. Their ability to keep animals calm and under control, even in times of distress, amazes our family and we hope they understand how much they mean to us--including our pets-- and how we will never take an animal to another location. We have no doubts, if plausible, that this staff will get Cali back to full health. Thanks again, Masterson Animal Clinic. Youre beyond appreciated.

I had made an appointment over the weekend for a Monday morning for concern that something was wrong with my 7 month old kitten, Nikon, because he seemed to be peeing and drinking a lot and started peeing outside of his litter box. I called back in even more concern for him because he continued to pee out of the litter box. They graciously took me in 30 minutes before they closed and looked at Nikon. They took urine samples and blood work, and told me he has diabetes. Poor guy :( but I will take diabetes over renal failure! The staff was super nice and extremely helpful, and I am so grateful that they took me in even though they were closing, and I definitely recommend CareCredit because being able to pay this bill off in 6 months is going to make my life a lot easier. I will definitely continue to keep taking Nikon to see these loving and amazing people!

Very pleased. They handled and treated my animal very well. The vet, Dr. McGregor, took plenty of time to talk with me about my cat and let me ask as many questions as I wanted. He left it up to me to decide whether to run certain tests and see price-wise where we were at as we were deciding. He was very practical and friendly. My sister has taken her dog here as well and saw Dr. Bridgham whom she absolutely loved. It was on her recommendation that I took my cat to this particular clinic when he was ill. I feel very confident recommending Masterson Animal since both vets were so reliable for us.

I brought my dog here for his annual visit and shots shortly after moving to town. After spending more than 2 hours and $300 I left with the need to still get my dogs rabies vaccine. The vet refused to do more than one shot a visit. He also tried to convince me that my dog needed a vaccine that is only given to puppies (my dog is 13) and treated me like I was an idiot. My dog was nervous from the point we walked in (more than the usual vet trip jitters) and didnt like the staff. That should have been my first clue. I found a different vet and wont be back.

Weve taken our cats there and they are really great. When one of our cats had ear mites Dr.Bridgham took my two young sons back in the lab area to show them what ear mites look like under the microscope which is something they still talk about. They are sweet with our animals, and will sometimes call and follow up to make sure they are doing ok. The price is about equal and sometimes less than Southland Vet where I used to go, but left. Im really pleased with these guys!

I have three dogs, considering getting a fourth. I take my pets here. The vet is always very through, and explains in detail everything that will happen and needs to happen and why. He also clearly explains all options and the costs of those options and what he recommends. Theyre a little bit more expensive than the vet I used to use when I lived in Richmond, but you are for sure getting what you pay for here. Bottom line, the vet cares.

thanks for NOT selling frontline (the over the counter available everywhere else in the vet world flea preventative) because we had not been to your business in the last year...???? Im thanking your unhelpful staff because I wouldnt have found the MUCH friendlier folks at the leestown rd. animal clinic right down the road from you...which is where my business will now reside....:) great idea on that frontline policy!! Bruce

Weve had our two dogs seen here regularly. We recently had our dog put down there. It was clearly awful, but I was shocked by how compassionate the doctor and staff were. They made a miserable process as good as it could have been. I will always feel grateful for how they treated me and my good old dog.

I love this place and all of the people that work here they are so caring and nice. Except I did have a problem Id say a week or so ago with one employee (Jared?) having a non caring attitude about things and wasnt as considerate as the others. Other than that great clinic!!
