I could go on forever about how highly I think of this place, with the exception of Dr. Fairchild, for whom I could say quite the contrary. About a year ago, when I brought my obviously ill Boxer in (refused to eat, throwing up, shedding like crazy, rapid weight loss) Dr. Fairchild decided to just throw some antibiotics at the problem without so much as a blood test to confirm his diagnosis of infection. Within a matter of weeks, after many tears and many dollars, my sweet had to be put down for something far more complicated and practically untreatable based on the success rate of the rediculously priced treatment. Dr. Palmer, however, is a saint in my eyes. When I brought my dog back a few days after seeing that moron (because he was getting worse by the day, thanks "Doctor" Fairchild) , she did her research and within 48 hours she had the correct diagnosis. Even though he was untreatable, it wouldve been nice to know the first time and been saved the stress, heartache and money. Currently I have another incredible boxer who just gave birth and required emergency surgery due to a couple that didnt make it. Yes, the financial details are unpleasant and the staff was concerned with money and the hows and whens regarding payment, as with any business. But, I have found this staff to be sympathetic and very compassionate. When I put my first dog down, Dr. Palmer actually got a little emotional herself. That is what will keep me going back to this facility. I trust my pets with her care infinitely. As for Fairchild, I cringe when they mention his name. The guy specializes in birds or some nonsense. Ill stick with the dr. that actually does what shes there for. :) & the staff has always been great too!

Just like with any Hospital that have multiple Drs there are good ones and bad ones. Dr. Steven Fairchild and I met because one of the other Drs in the practice which I will leave un-named wanted to perform a MAJOR sugery on my senior dog, a cycst on her side that was NOT cancer but because the size of it the surgery would have required drainage bags etc. There is NOTHING I will not do for my babies; with that said many will take advantage of it! This guy when I was on the fence about it made me feel sooooo guilty.I needed to do research etc. When I went back to talk to the Unnamed Dr. Dr. Fairchild happened to be in the front, saw the tears in my eyes and asked if he could help me. I explained what was going on and he took a look at her xrays. She did NOT need surgery. The huge cycst was not impeding on anything or causing any pain, nothing! She lived a wonderful, happy and loved 14 years and eneded up passing from what she was born with, hip dysplasia. Her legs went limp. This is one of so many wonderful experiences I have had with Dr. Fairchild. He has been there though some major heartbreaks loosing my family members. He is Kind! Honest! Loving! Caring! Compassionate! AND HE LISTENS!!! The other Dr. got mad when you spoke or if you did not understand something and he had to repeat himself. It has been 6-8 years - maybe longer? that I have been blessed with him taking care of my fur babies. I would recommend him to anyone!

I cant describe how much we loved sprayberry animal hospital. Our older dog started having swelling in his back legs and then one day couldnt walk, we knew it wasnt good and our normal vet was closed. I called and they got us in that very day. The staff was so kind and sympathetic- our dog was taken in on a stretcher in the back, we didnt have to wait a minute because of our situation. We were given a room and in minutes Dr. Gholston came in. He spent well over an hour with us, we never felt rushed and we never felt like he was treating our dog as a lost cause. He gave us every option, didnt push any unnecessary costs and helped us come up with a plan to try and get us a little more time. He was so kind and really talked with us instead of rushing in and out of the room like you find at most vets. He even called the next day to check on our dog. Our dog was put on 3 different meds, had his stomach drained of fluid and we spent probably an hour and half with the vet and the wonderful caring nurses. The price was only $200 which almost sent us into shock! Our old vet one simple ear infection cost us $350! We have made the switch this is our now permanent vet for both our animals and I highly highly recommend sprayberry animal hospital!

Went to Sprayberry Animal Hospital this past Holiday season because our Enzo had ingested the plastic end cap to his feather toy. We did not realize how serious his condition was but after calling several places (which by the way would not take this emergency situation) SAHs doctors and staff really showed their care and commitment by squeezing him in while still being one of the more affordable options. At the end of the day, you cant put a price tag on beloved family members. Id like to think all providers are able to offer expert medical care but Dr. Fairchild and his entire staff showed more than just expertise in being able to perfectly perform an extremely risky surgery. They showed their passion and attentiveness and went above and beyond to provide the best care and service possible. I received several follow up calls for days after from Dr. Fairchild himself to check up on Enzos status. Now its been a little more than six months and he has had a full, healthy, worry free recovery and is back to his old self. I could not thank this team enough and its great to know Ive found my forever animal care provider!

My 6lbs dog took a tumble from the second story deck :( Brought her in assuming they were going to run a million tests and rack up a bill.... but instead the vet took a logical approach. Examined the dog carefully for broken bones (had her walk, touched different areas to get her reaction), made sure there was no bleeding in the mouth, eyes etc and said "I can run some X-Rays and blood tests if you want but even if there are issues theres not much you are going to be able to do and itll just cost you a lot of money.... best thing to do is keep an eye, but if shes acting normal than theres no sense in running costly tests"... WOW I have to say, that is an honest vet! I will definitely continue to take my dog here :) Also, front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable!

Ive been bringing my elderly dog to see Dr.Kwak as she is going through lots of sickness recently. The great thing about this vet is that they do not just see her as an old dog that you just cant do anything about, but rather they put their upmost effort into caring for her just like they would a young dog. You can tell that he is truly passionate about his work and really cares for the animal, going through every possibility when presented with a problem. Excellent work, and truly passionate people.
