My initial experience was positive, but that didnt last... As it had been over 10 years since Id been able to see a dentist, I knew that I needed some serious work done and that my dental insurance wasnt super great. $6000 later, and I thought I was in pretty decent shape. Every follow-up visit was good. Then I had to skip a follow-up and come back after about 7 months instead of the usual 3-4... And suddenly they insisted that I needed another $529 deep cleaning for my upper gums (a procedure they did a year ago for my whole mouth, which cost me about $1000-1200). When I started asking about cost and trying to figure out when I could afford to do it, they were dismissive and just kept plowing ahead to get me scheduled within a week. I became so frustrated that I started crying, but the hygienist and dentist kept talking over me, pretending that I wasnt upset and that it was perfectly normal to drop $500 whenever you want or need to. I wish I could say thats pocket change, but its not, and this was an incredibly stressful experience. Then, when I decided that I wanted a second opinion, I asked for my X-rays to be emailed to myself and another dentist. They sent my x-rays from a year ago instead of the updated ones. Ive had two root canals, an extraction, and a bridge since then, so those x-rays were going to be completely useless to my new dentist. When I called this morning to get this fixed, they seemed surprised that I would want my latest x-rays and didnt even offer an apology. I just received another email, but this one is only the images of my root canals and bridge, rather than the full set of x-rays taken a couple of weeks ago. Over the past year, Ive had issues with billing, as well. The price of my bridge went up unexpectedly after Id already made two payments on it. I understand that insurance is tricky and that things change, but I expect those changes to happen during an estimate, not after payments have already begun. Basically, while the office staff is generally pleasant, these people dont instill a lot of confidence, especially when they push really hard for costly additional services and make a lot of mistakes without ever admitting to them. Im taking my business elsewhere, and Id recommend that others do the same.

I came in with a loose tooth caused by an infection under the tooth itself. Dr. Mike Epstein suggested I might need an antibiotic after having viewed the x-ray, but never actually prescribed one. Dr. Epstein seemed to be mostly interested in selling me an expensive mouthful of additional dental work not in my current situation, and not in my dental health! Epstein seemed more like a used car salesman than a dentist. The work that he had done did not secure the tooth for long, it was loose again by the following day. At which point he suggested I see a specialist. Not even having the decency to tell me in person, he related this information through his receptionist. Little River Dental is horrible! Id never suggest anyone get anything done there. Please, for yours and your families sake, steer clear!!

I had a great experience with my daughter here. We went for a back to school cleaning. Shes normally VERY anxious about the dentist to the point where weve been asked to leave other offices in the past because she was scaring other patients. The hygentist, Alisa, made sure to take her time with my daughter and calm her during the whole process. The dentist was also very sweet and gentle with her.

Wow, tricksters in true form. Went in for a cleaning and was told that I needed $500 worth of extra work and when I declined they declined to serve me and still charged me $50. Please I beg you, keep you and your loved ones far away from this place or you will regret it.

I brought my kids there for a cleaning. With a post card that offered a teeth cleaning for $59 per person, but at the checkout they charged $25 more per each kid, and recommended they needed a teeth protector that costs two hundred something I ended paying $478
