Had a root canal and crown done about 6 months ago on one of my front teeth. They decided to use a part of the tooth shaved down to put the crown on. 2 months ago that part of the tooth broke off with the crown when I was eating a slice of pizza. I was always careful with it, but when I went back in to have it fixed I was told "I need to be careful what I eat." Whatever. Then, they had to put a post in and charged me for it. They didnt ask if it was okay to charge me until the post was already in, and I couldnt really argue because I had gauze in my mouth and a metal post sticking out of my mouth. I was told they didnt have enough time to permanently fix the crown to the post, so I would have to return the following week. When they put the crown on temporarily, I was not asked if I could close my mouth and when I left I realized I could not touch my back teeth together to chew. Called in and complained, they managed to fit me in the next day but I waited a couple hours and was missing time at work because of it. When they finally got the crown on permanently, I thought everything was finally cleared up. Wrong. Liquid (saliva, water, whatever Im drinking) is able to get inside the crown, sits in there, and when any pressure is put on the crown it seeps out leaving a nasty taste in my mouth. On top of that, I used mouthwash one morning and it caused a pulsing, burning pain inside of the crown. Came back today to have it looked at and fixed (or so I thought), only to have them tell me "it looks pretty sealed, it is probably one of the teeth next to it causing the discomfort." Wrong. I can definitely feel the liquid coming out of the crown and the pain from the mouthwash was only bothering that root. Another issue I have had is coming in way too many times for one issue. Will not be coming back, and I wouldnt recommend getting any serious work done here.

I had a scheduled appointment for 5:30 PM. I walked in 15 minutes early because I was a new patient and wanted to make sure all the proper paper work was filled out. Then I sat and waited while they took 5-6 patients who walked in after me. I was never informed of any delay or given a reason why it was taking so long. I considered complaining and walking out but was afraid they would still charge me for the appointment. Finally, at 6:30 (1 full hour after my scheduled appointment) they called my name. I had some quick x-rays taken by a dental hygienist who was very nice and understanding of my frustrations. She then brought me to the chair where I was assured the dentist would be with me shortly. I waited there for 45 minutes. I eventually sat up in the chair and the hygienist noticed. She asked if I was waiting for the office manager to complain about the wait. I laughed telling her I was still waiting on the dentist. A look of shock appeared on her face. At this point, it was 7:30 and I had not seen the dentist. Finally the dentist came and took care of me. She was polite and informative. I had no problems with her. I mentioned that the wait was a little ridiculous but did so politely. It was clear it wasnt a problem of the employees not doing their job but management not staffing them correctly. Eventually, I left the office around 8 oclock. This was a full 2.5 hours after my appointment. This is completely unacceptable from any business and reflects terribly on their management. The employees were doing the most they could but were obviously overbooked or understaffed. I feel sorry for the employees who have to work here because the management obviously has no clue how to effectively run a business. I will not be coming back. Stat of the day: it costs 5-7x more to obtain a new customer than it does to retain a current customer

Great experience with dental staff, horrible support staff, wait time, and management! I am torn between how to rate this place. The office staff is unpredictable. Some are horribly incompetent, others seems friendly and helpful. Brought in a new insurance card to have my patient portion recalculated. Was told it would "take some time," although on my consultation they had it ready when I left. Told she would call me the next day, and if she didnt I was to call her the day after that. When she didnt call by 5 pm the next day I went into the office , walked up to the desk, she said hello, and went to the computer, and proceeded to input my new insurance information. It took 5 minutes!!!!!!! I have waited up to an hour and a half for appointments, witnessed people walking out because they had waited so long they could stay no longer because of other commitments, and had one mother totally rearranging the pick up of her son at some practice because she wasnt even in her appointment yet when she was due to pick him up. The only reason I gave this place the 3 stars is because of Dr. Modi and the dental staff. Dr. Modi is extremely calming, witty, and friendly. The staff are also competent and seem awkwardly apologetic for the incompetency of the management and the front staff because when they get to see patients, the patients are already upset. I am satisfied with the dental care but consider changing practices constantly because of all the other reasons. Prices also seem extremely high. I suggest everyone shop around first.

I had an appointment today at 4:30 just for a cleaning. They told me they were running about 30 minutes behind and I said that was fine. I understand things happen. The woman at the reception desk was very kind. I waited and waited and waited until about 5:15 they took me back. I got some X-rays done and they sat me down and told me I was waiting on the dentist. The dentist came in and poked around at my teeth and discussed my X-rays with me. He answered all my questions and seemed to be very nice. He told me the hygienist would be in shortly. About 20 minutes later, the woman who did my X-rays told me I needed to go back out and wait in the waiting room and the hygienist would come get me when she was ready for me. Around 6:00, the woman who does payments called me back but couldnt find what cleaning to charge me for. I informed her I had not had a cleaning. They forgot to clean my teeth I guess. She apologized and took me back to see a hygienist. The hygienist poked around at my gums for a few seconds and left, then the lady who does payments informed me that with my insurance my cleaning would be $103 which I was not prepared for, as my insurance states they cover two free cleanings a year. I opted out of the cleaning and paid for my exam and X-rays. So to sum all that up, I had an appointment at 4:30, got called back at 5:15, saw a dentist for maybe 5 minutes, they sent me out to the waiting room and forgot about cleaning my teeth, and I didnt leave until about 6:45. Very unorganized but the staff was nice for the most part.
