Dr. James Wade and his Physicians Assistant, Lance Lane, are excellent and truly very caring healthcare providers. If you have a run-of-the-mill issue like high blood pressure or cholesterol, cold, flu, etc. I would see Lance. He is top notch of any P.A. I have ever seen! He really knows his stuff. If you have a serious condition like chest pain, strange and new symptoms that you have never had before I would see Dr. Wade. You choose when you make your appointment who you would like to see. Obviously some people dont trust a P.A for anything which I dont understand. If they saw the school they went through to that point they would but thats a personal preference. Fact is that this is a fantastic group of medical professionals with a VERY good track record in the Belleville area, secretaries and nurses included. They serve admitted patients at both Memorial Hospital and St. Elizabeths hospital.

As a nurse I had worked closely with Dr . Wade. When I was forced by illness to find a primary care provider I knew right away that I would be in trusted and knowledgeable hands with this amazing physician that has one of the best bedside manners Ive ever seen. Over the years Ive had to make many visits to the office and have always had excellent patient care. Not only Dr. Wade but everyone in the office has always been kind, caring, knowledgeable, and great at their jobs. If Ive ever needed an appointment, they have always been able to get me into the office within a day or two, sometimes even the same day if it were a more urgent issue. I wouldnt go to another PCP and always recommend this group of medical professionals to anyone that asks.

They are okay on the medical side, never actually seen Wade in person always a PA, but the real problem is their billing. They do not send bills in any sort of traceable manner and never send a notice they are turning the bill over to collections. They claim I was sent both but never received either one and since they refuse to use registered mail they have no clue as to where it did go but they will be sure to call demanding immediate payment or it will be turned over to collections in 24 hours but never call prior to that. On top of that they charged a "convenience" fee for paying by credit card over the phone. Doesnt matter how good a doctor is, the amount of lies and stress involved in their billing makes the office completely worthless.

Dr. Wade: PLEASE set up an email account that is tied to your webpage - which doesnt exist yet? At least, I cant find it through Googling your name - though you appear on other medically related websites. If you will do that simple task, then we can send a routine message to your staff (like a billing issue that does NOT require a conversation with them, only provision of necessary information). This will save your staff time, save your patients and prospective patients time, and improve overall customer relations (and therefore PROFIT). Go digital, Doc. Thanks, my friend! Ron White
