Dr. Bayer had been excellent for years for me with thyroid and pre diabetic issues. I have never had a more conscientious office that lets you know practically the minute your blood work comes in; they call with exact feedback from Dr. Bayer. That is stellar in my book after so many years of fighting to get reports (and rightly so.......much cancer in our family, we pay for it, we should hear what it is ASAP)..........no letting you hang over a long weekend with this office. 8-) I found him listed in Chicago Magazine as highly recommended not one year but at least two years in the recent past.

Dr Bayer acted like a robot. Dr Bayer made eye contact 5 seconds during the entire appointment. He spent all his time filling out forms on his computer instead of listening to any concerns I had. His bedside manner is horrible! He is extremely unwilling to accept other professional opinions. He was very concerned about "if insurance will cover" instead of the care of the patient. Save yourself the frustration find a different doctor who cares about your health & issues.
