Is it wrong to say you LOVE your chiropractor? Well, I do! Ive been seeing Dr. Lori for two years now (even through my pregnancy) and I cant imagine going anyplace else for my chiro needs. Ive seen other chiropractors in the city, but none of them have had as kind and caring approach as her. She makes you feel comfortable with the practice and tailors her adjustments to your needs and your ability. I would be remiss if I didnt give props to Dr. Loris staff as well. Yessinia and Christine hold the fort down and make sure everything runs smoothly. They make you feel welcome and ensure you are well taken care of. Carrie, gives amazing massages and is gentle and warm. I recently had a baby and even take her in for adjustments. Scary? Nah! Dr. Lori makes very minor and slight "touches" to our tiny daughter that has improved her reflux--amazing! I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place and the people who work here.

The best chiropractor in the city, believe me! Ive seen a lot of them during my life, since I always had back problems and scoliosis. After giving birth to my daughter the pain in my lower back became more severe. I tried different chiropractors, while finally I found Dr. Lori Portnoy - a highly professional and talented specialist who definitely knows what she is doing (unlike other chiropractors, who only wanted my money). Also the office is very cozy, it has some toys, like LEGO, so you can bring your child with you. The ladies who work on reception are unbelievably nice and amiable! I am glad I am a patient of the Alpha Family Chiropractors.

Dr. Portnoy is the best! Ive been going to her for many years and no matter what I do to my back or neck, she always puts me back together. I did have an incident where she referred me to an orthopedic doctor because it was out of her scope and this really impressed me. Shes very honest and sincere about her work and the fact that she can always squeeze me in last minute is a plus! She will always be worth my drive from the suburbs.

I have been a long time patient of Dr Portnoy and have experienced exceptionally caring and effective treatment for injuries I have received from accidents I have had over the years. I had an especially bad shoulder injury for about 2 years which was healed very quickly by the use of several therapies offered by Dr. Portnoy. She is the first person I go to whenever I have a need for her expert touch.
