I live in Bucktown and had an overall unpleasant dental experience with Kimberly Smiles on North Milwaukee Avenue so i decided I would find a better dentist. I researched various dentist in the Bucktown/Wicker Park/Lincoln Park areas and selected Dr Szurgot. I went to the first appointment needing a cleaning, a general check up and I was also inquiring about invisalign. Dr Szurgot was very personable/professional and took the time to inform and educate me on my dental needs and options with invisalign. Given my prior experiences that experience was very refreshening. As it turns out I will need a crown and the amount he will be charging is $700 less than I was charged by Kimberly Smiles. That $700 is not a typo! I now have had 2 appointments and highly recommend Dr Szurgot based upon the overall positive experiences and reasonable charges. He and his entire staff were friendly/professional and made going to the dentist about as pleasant as it can be. As a side note I was worried about parking in that area and fortunately each time I was able to easily find street parking. The cost for parking was around $3 for each of my appointments so that was a bonus too.

I have been coming to Lincoln Park Columbus Dental for about 8 years now and I hope to be coming for another 80! Dr. Szurgot is not only a master of his craft, but does an excellent job of creating a relationship with his patients so when you go, it feels like youre visiting an old friend rather than the dreaded dentist appointment. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly, and the hygienists always do well to make you feel welcome. Theyre also very conscientious of pain and comfort thresholds so Ive never felt anxiety sitting in the chair. I would definitely recommend this dentistry to anyone and everyone. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments, and the windows overlooking Lincoln Park make for some spectacular views. Ive done everything here from cleanings, cavity fillings, bonding, and gotten my wisdom teeth removed. Shortly, I plan on getting porcelain veneers done and feel confident that Ive made the right choice in going with Dr. Szurgot and his colleagues. Ill be sure to provide an update once the procedure is over!

Dentist Kenneth Szurgot is an incredible dentist. Kindness in the world today is rare. Kindness from strangers almost unheard of. Kenneth Szurgot DDS didnt know me on a personal level and yet he went out of his way to show me kindness, generosity and sincere care. I want Chicago to know of his kindness. I couldnt pay for my dental needs and I was in severe pain yet Kenneth still provide me with his service and treated me like a paying customer. From the front desk to the dental assistant everyone was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Kenneth educated my on my dental problems and fixed it. I was relieved to be out of pain. He volunteered several hours of his time. He did an excellent job. He is a excellent dentist and a kind human being.It is a privilege and a pleasure to know Dentist Kenneth Szurgot. We should all support a business that gives back to the community! The office is beautiful, clean and a spectacular view of the city. Thanks!!

Dr. Szurgot and his staff are truly amazing. There dental expertise and bedside manners are unparalleled. He and his staff make it very comfortable to schedule you and get you in right on time for your set appointment. Dr. Szurgot is so great at making you understand every thing he is doing by explaining what is going on and what he will be doing which is very comforting. My biggest endorsement though is how he and his office cares about their patients. On NYE one year I cracked a tooth. I called the hotline and within minutes I received a personal call from Dr. Szurgot himself. He left his home and family and met me at the office and performed an immediate procedure to allow me to not be in pain and enjoy my holiday. I will never forget that act of kindness. I cannot recommend Dr. Szurgot and his office more highly for dental services for you and your family and friends.

Dr Szurgot and his entire team are professional, friendly and helpful. From Elizabeth at the front desk who will check benefits for me, to the hygienists to Dr Szurgots knowledge and standards of perfection. He fixed a horrible front tooth restoration from another dentist in just a few minutes. Spending 5 years thinking I had no other options, was a welcome surprise. Ive had various procedures completed in his office. I went to him initially for a second opinion. That second opinion saved me $6,000 and the cherry on top was the repair to that front tooth during my first visit. He also has incredible oral surgeon referral contacts at Northwestern. Wish I didnt need all this dental work but for the first time in my dental history I can relax in his chair.

The experience at Lincoln Park Cosmetic Dentists was great! The hygienist took me to the back as soon as I arrived and started cleaning my teeth right away. She was very good and thorough and I felt like my teeth were much cleaner when I left. Dr Szurgot was great also. I had a filling that had fallen out and rather than have to schedule another appt. he filled it right then with no pain and the perfect amount of novacain which wore off after about 20 minutes from leaving. The office is clean and nice and all the staff are wonderful. Feels like family ; I would definitely recommend Dr. Szurgot and this office!

I havent been to a dentist in a long time because I was ashamed and uncomfortable regarding my teeth. Dr. Szurgot assured me my situation is going to improve, and so far it has. During my first visit Dr. Szurgot explained to me replacement teeth procedures, showed me models, and drew some pictures. He was patient with me and thorough. After she cleaned my teeth, Betty showed me step by step the proper way to floss. Also, Ive experienced no pain while in the dentists chair and the staff is great. I believe I will be smiling like

Dr. Szurgot has been my dentist for almost ten years. Even though Ive moved to various parts of Chicago, I still travel the extra few miles for teeth cleaning and other dental work, because he and his staff are not only really, really great at what they do, but they are always very helpful and treat their patients like a friend. In other words - theyve treated me like Im not just another patient. Im always amazed how they sometimes remember a conversation from the last teeth cleaning 6 months ago, and ask about it.

Any anxiety I may have is alleviated by the warm and friendly conversations I have with Effie. Elizabeth addresses concerns and questions about billing, payment and insurance expeditiously. His office has treated my whole family. My daughter started out with him and continues to do so in her adult years.
