Dr. Yang is truly outstanding in every respect, and the efficiency and friendliness of the staff are consistent with his excellence. Dr. Yang has been my dentist for about 20 years, previously in Oakbrook before he opened this practice. Even though Crystal Lake is about 50 miles away from me, versus about 2 miles to Oakbrook, I never even considered doing anything other than follow him to Crystal Lake for my dental needs. He conveys interest and empathy for the patient, exhibits comprehensive dental skill and knowledge, conveys complicated issues to the patient in very understandable terms, and continually tries to solve problems initially with the least invasive and most cost effective approach, while at the same time considering the patients total health situation. Dr. Yang exhibits every quality I could possibly desire in an outstanding dentist.

My husband and I love Dr. Yang and his entire crew at Tru Family Dental! Tabitha up front is always so friendly over phone, even when we called to say that we would be 30 mins. late for our appt. due to terrible weather + traffic. Terri did an awesome job of cleaning & polishing my teeth just in time for Christmas! Everyone in the office is so professional, knowledgeable and friendly that it makes dental appointments not as unpleasant as dental care normally goes. Did I mention that my husband and I come all the way from downtown Chicago for our dental care? It helps that we have family up here to visit so we also add our dental appts. accordingly. We highly recommend this practice if youre looking for a dentist!

Theres something very reassuring knowing that youre not only putting your hands in one of the most skilled, experienced and qualified dentists, Dr. John Yang, but his patience and comfortable personal demeanor are quite notable. Shots are painless and hes conscientious of the patients positioning and ease throughout the procedure, which was commonly an issue with past doctors. Its a relief to find a doctor as reliable and trustworthy, so I would definitely recommend Dr. Yang. With relation to the office and staff, theres an efficiency and time consideration that I appreciate. Not only are they very friendly, but they seem to be on top of everything!!

I was in A LOT of pain when I called. Tabitha answered the phone and was very friendly and was able to get me in right away. I was seen immediately and Zita took a few xrays, and Dr. Yang came in right after and within 15 minutes I was numb and on my way of my tooth extraction. (Zita even held my hand since she knew I was scared of dentists!) I was waiting for the pain to come, Dr. Yang told me my tooth had already been pulled. I am so happy with the service, I and TERRIFIED of dentists, but I wont be scared to come back here again. Thank you to the whole office for making this visit as comfortable as it could possibly be.

I havent been to the dentist in over a decade as I had a horrible experience in the past not to mention I have a phobia about even getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. Yang was incredible and put me at ease and was as gentle as can be! He explained every step of the way what needed to be done and the course of treatment. When it came time to have work done, he was the best! He is very professional and knowledgeable and has the best bed side manners. His work is outstanding and I walked out not feeling overwhelmed. He made it painless for me and my phobia of going to the dentist dissappeared! I highly reccommend Dr. Yang!!!!

Today Dr.Yang prepared my tooth for a crown. He did so with gentleness and professionalism, caring for my comfort during the long procedure. This will be my third crown the doctor has created. At 68 years of age my fillings are getting old and cant support my teeth. This tooth completely broke off on one whole side. I didnt think the tooth could be saved, but Dr. Yang felt he could build up the one side and was able to save the tooth. It was as if he was sculpting my tooth. His professionalism and easy to talk to manner are especially appreciated. I would highly recommend Dr. Yang and his staff to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yang’s for many years that has included everything from general routine visits all the way up to having crowns put in. His bedside manner is the best and he takes the time to explain all that is going on and makes sure you are comfortable. But what really stands out to me is Dr. Yang’s attention to detail. When it came time to have my crowns replaced, he made sure that the lab had them fit and match perfectly. Since the crowns were my two front teeth this was very important to me and they turned out fabulous! I would fully recommend Dr. Yang for any of your dentistry needs.

Tru family Dental is truly an amazing place. Because of my insurance I went to different Dentist. Even though Dr.Yang was out of network it cost me much more money. Dr. Yang did not cost me more it was my coverage, But Dr. Yang is that good. I had to have custom made dentures, not an easy thing to do. But between the amazing lab Dr.Yang uses and Dr. Yang I have beautiful new dentures. I can not express enough how amazing Dr. Yang is. He so knowledgeable and so nice. The whole staff amazing and willing to work with you. Im scared to death of Dentist, but not Dr. Yang, hes that good.

Tru Familys forward thinking approach to dental care allowed for a quick and painless experience. I would recommend their kind and caring staff to anyone looking for all types of care, whether it be a routine check up or something a little more involved such as my chipped tooth experience. I had initially called in for an appointment after chipping a tooth. Dr. Yang and his staff were able to schedule an appointment for me right away. After taking x-rays and smoothing out the damage with previously unavailable technology, it truly look as good as new.

I went here to get my first ever filling and to get teeth bleaching treatment trays and my experience was way better than I could have hoped for. The staff here is so friendly and they answered all my questions. I was worried going into the procedure about the pain but to my surprise, it was 100% pain free thanks to the doctor and his assistant. I have no problem driving 45 minutes to this office because of how great my experiences have been and I wouldnt trust anyone but the great people at Tru Dental with my teeth :)

Since the beginning of this year, I have had a lot of dental work done by Dr. Yang and staff and all experiences have been great. The staff is always friendly, caring, and helpful. Dr. Yang is knowledgeable and makes me feel comfortable with whatever procedure we are going to do. He is patient, calm and very encouraging while working with me. I had gone to my dentist with a cracked tooth and was told they could not pull for three weeks. I was referred by a friend to this office. I was able to get in right away. Everyone in this office is so professional and makes sure you feel comfortable. Every step of my treatment was explained to me and made sure I was comfortable with it. I have found my permanent dentist office my family and I will be going to. I highly recommend this office and Dr Yang.
