A wonderful dentist who didnt kill a lion. What more could you ask for? I had my appointment with Dr. Kim yesterday and could not have been more pleased. I was scheduled for an annual check up and cleaning. I found out that I had two cavities and was in need of a night guard due to bruxism. Approximately one hour later, I had my x-rays done, teeth cleaned, both cavities filled, and impressions completed for a night guard. I experienced zero pain and this is impressive considering my teeth are sensitive. Dr. Kim was extremely gentle yet effective and very efficient. I was in and out in only one appointment and had multiple dental issues resolved. Facilities are clean, office staff is friendly, and Dr. Kim is professional, personable, and very good at his job. I highly recommend making your appointment with Shining Smiles if you are in need of a good dentist.

My wife and I love shining smiles. Dr Kim and all of his staff are friendly knowledgeable and caring. We dont like going to the dentist but Dr Kim makes things nearly painless. The office is very clean and modern. We are always greeted and welcomed into the office. This practice does not pressure or tell you that you need work that is not needed. The only thing I was told needed redone from my old dentist was a filling that was really bad, what do you know thats the only thing I have had to go back for because the tooth cracked from the filling out. Im glad Dr Kim was able to fix it, but will listen to him next time he says I may need something fixed before it becomes a larger problem. Thanks to shining smiles they are the best.

I love this place! Super friendly and they care about your mouth not the money. Dr. Jae is amazing! He pulled my wisdom teeth and i didnt even know they were out. He talked me through everything he was doing and was able to put me at ease. I hadnt been to a dentist in years and i never felt judged or like he was trying to sell me something. I will be coming here for all my dental needs. Ps. My tech. Sandra was awesome. She laughed at my lame jokes and i could tell i had her complete attention. The receptionist Deanna is very helpful and she too made me feel like i was what was important at the time. Also their office is very clean and not over crowded.

I absolutely love, love Shining Smiles in Franklin Park. The girl at the front desk Deanna is super friendly and knowledgeable. If she doesnt know something she has no problem asking her manager. Diane is also super great with all ages... My family of five ranges from 7 to 40 years old and we were treated great!!! Appointments were on time and the facility is brand new, smells great and super clean... I highly recommend you to try it out. Great staff with smiling faces and positive attitudes. I will definitely continue coming here as long as they are in business.

Hands down best dental experience in my life!! I travel all the way from the South Side of Chicago to the Franklin Park location on public transportation just to see Dr. Kim. He is extremely approachable and kind. He is very professional, and does not make promises that he cannot keep. He is also a perfectionist so I always feel like I get what I pay for. The ladies in the office are also very welcoming and friendly. I would be in heaven if there was a location closer to me, but for now definitely worth the travel.

My new dentist is awesome. The girls are very friendly. They all made me feel quit comfortable. Very nIce and very clean in office and dental rooms. New innovative X-ray equipment, I was amazed on how fast they showed up on computer. You should check out Dr. Kim he is very thorough and provides educational information about the preservation of your teeth. I am looking forward to getting my next cleaning. Im happy to have chosen Shining Smiles as my new dental office.

How much do I love this place? Let me count the ways. Dr. Kim and his entire staff was awesome. They transferred me over from my previous dentist quickly. They took me early when I had a later appointment. Gave me a root canal on the spot to alleviate my pain that I endured. He helped me through the process and explained everything as it was going on. Really made me comfortable. Hes awesome will recommend to friends and family.

first time at shining smiles was a wonderful experience, the staff are super friendly, the wait was super quick. dr.kim was very experienced and made me well aware of the situation and did amazing cleaning services and really took the time to explain the problem. the whole staff and him take the time to make sure you understand everything and it can be worked out at the end. excellent

Even my husband was very comfortable talking to the Dr and thats very rare for him to do. The office is very clean and smells really good

Out of all the dentists Ive gone to, Dr. Kim is probably the best. Normally my mouth/gums are at least a little sore after a checkup and cleaning, but hes very gentle so afterwards, I wasnt sore at all! Hes also very funny, so he puts you at ease for an experience most people dread or arent looking forward to.
