The staff there is very inexperienced. I had a scheduled appointment to have a tooth extraction. I had an panoramic X-Ray done at a previous dental office & took it to All Kids Dental because they took my insurance, I was told by one of the dental assistants that I had to retake my panoramic X-Ray because it was unreadable. The procedure went fine & I had no more tooth aches. But then a month later, my insurance sends me a letter in the mail stating my denial of payment for the procedure because I exceeded my benefits for it. Apparently my insurance only covers 1 X-Ray ever 36 months. First of all, as a patient, how am I suppose to know that? I was in pain & the assistant said that the doctor couldnt read my X-Ray so if I was going to have the procedure, I would have to retake it. Now Im not really faulting All Kids Dental on that one. But what I am faulting them on is, I called my previous dental office about the X-Ray & where I took it too. He told me that if it was unreadable, THEY couldve & shouldve called their office & he wouldve given them the number of the tooth that needed to be done. But according to him, the X-Ray was readable. My thing was that they didnt follow through or at least ask any questions regarding where the previous X-Ray was taken. That way we couldve settled it that day. Instead they took it upon their hands & now I am currently in an appeal process to fight back the denial of payment. All because there are inexperienced young women working there & not taking the initiative or going above & beyond to help the patient. Majority of the time, when I did come there, I mostly overheard them gossiping about other patients & always being on their cell phone during work hours. But in any case, I will give 2 stars only because they procedure was a success & my mouth isnt hurting me anymore. But the part they played in my financial burden right now is overwhelming.

Will never go back to this place again!! I took my 18 month old daughter for her check up and cleaning and had such a bad experience.. When i called to make the appointment they told me there was a pediatric dentist and general dentist and when i came in it was a very young girl most likely a dental assistant and she had no idea what she was doing nothing in the room was ready she was going to other rooms to get the stuff for the cleaning but what got me really mad was when she took out a regular brush to clean her teeth i asked her why is she going to brush her teeth with a regular brush that i been doing that at home n she said because my daughter will cry with the electronic brush they usually use.. didnt feel like making a big of a deal at the moment so i said fine she started cleaning her teeth and she was done in less then 15 seconds and didnt even want to rinse the toothpaste because my daughter was moving n she said it has no fluoride she can swallow i was so mad she didnt even look at my daughters theet i asked her so did you see any cavities in the 15 seconds cleaning you just did and She walked out the room and called the dentist and she didnt even looked at her teeth and said shes ok just come back in 6 months.. So all kids dental if you dont want to deal with crying kids and toddlers then u guys shouldnt schedule kids im sure alot of kids cry but that doesnt mean the stuff dont have to get done specially when im sure you will charge the insurance for a full services...

I had to have 4 wisdom teeth remove I was sitting in the office from 12:15 until 6:08pm my appt was schedule for 12:30. I didnt not leave the office until 7pm when every person besides the suregon (who look to be 20) and ignorrant pushy dental assistant was left. Which i believe they lied about the "laughing gas" I think that it was just oxygen. I didnt the feel any effect of gas that i would normally feel. The girls in the front just sat on their phones pickin at their acrylics. They did not inform anyone that their appt was going to be 6 hours later. Every time I went to question where my place was in line they would say they were not sure. Seriously the most ridiculous dentist office I have ever been to. Such a joke. They need to handle their scheduling better! ALSO the entire time I was there not one of those "receptionists" check the bathroom to see that it was in some serious needed maintance. I would recommend never going there. Unfortunately if you have medicaid or medicare you are forced to go there because no other dental office accepts that insurance. Just horrible inexperience people, if I knew i would be treated like how I was I would of found a way to come up with the 400 dollars and waited the 3 months to go to the loyola college of dentistry. Do not go unless no other option is available for you!

I absolutely love this place, our dentist, Dr. Beltran is amazing. She really reminds me off my childhood dentist who was amazing and sang to us as she worked on our teeth. This dental office really put my mind at ease after going to Apple Dentistry in Chicago and them telling me they wanted to pull out my 2 years old front teeth. I definitely needed a second opinion and found this place while looking for my old dentist in Melrose Park, Dr. Beltran said she would never pull out his teeth and that she would monitor them for 6 months and then take action from there (he had cavities due to being on a bottle longer than he should have) six month pass and they get worse, so she informs me they will fill them in, and explained the procedure thoroughly and comforted my son from the moment he stepped in until the tears and someone caring him out to me (I could not be in the room due to having my other child with me) although I was scared to leave him alone for any procedure they really assured me he would be fine and they did not want my other child to watch and make him afraid of the dentist. They also said it would be about 20-25 minutes, its felt like forever but was actually about ten and the assistant came out holding my son and comforting him. Overall, all staff here is amazing :)

I made an appointment at this dentist because it is near my house and I was in a lot of pain. I showed up 15 minutes early because it was my first time going and knew I would need to fill out paperwork. My appointment was at 11 and I was not seen until 11:30 because they clearly over booked. The woman who brought me back was extremely nice and I liked her a lot. The entire time I was there I stressed how much pain I was in and the fact that conventional ibprophen or Tooth numbing creek did not help what so ever. They did everything they had to do and turns out I have an impacted wisdom tooth, not an infection. Fine whatever I go to schedule an appointment and they cant get me in until April 4th. Its march 7th. I cant even go to work Im in so much pain. After waiting another 15 minutes they bring me back and claim my insurance will take 4 weeks to process the request. 4 weeks! So they make an appointment for April without giving me any pain medication but they gave me an antibiotic for the infection I dont have. I called my insurance and they said it takes a weeks to get that claim approved. I dont understand how you can let a patient wait that long when they are in that much pain. Not okay. The only reason I gave a 2nd star was how friendly the girl and the dentist were.
