I have been a patient at Delany Dental Care now for over 20 years. My primary care givers have been Dr. Mark Amidei as dentist and Barb as hygienist. What can I say, Dr. Mark frequently says if everyone had teeth like mine, he would go broke. So is that a good thing? I say YES. The care that I have received at DDC has inspired me to regularly take care of my teeth and just as importantly regularly have office visits. Barb is as good as they get with cleaning. I dont know if it is possible to make scraping your teeth with a pick pleasant, but short of that you cant do better. Dr. Mark hasnt really had much of a chance to work on me besides some slight cosmetic work, but I can tell by what he has done that one is in great hands. I used to go to another dentist, but now have moved away from Gurnee, but still come back to DDC for my teeth. I think that says A LOT. The entire practice is a very professional operation -- you will not be disappointed.

My family has used Delany Dental for many years (at least 15 years) and plan to for many more. The team here are amazing, every person contributes to ensure that your experience is pleasant, you will always feel welcome and the service personalized. Dr. Amidei aims to provide the least pain possible and is mindful of how his patients demeanor is, so he and his team can respond in kind. Oh and did I mention there are TVs on the ceiling, so you can zone out during your procedure or cleaning. Also, you dont need to worry about being pressured into services or get that feeling some dentists give that seems almost like a gimmick youre being sold on - good honest dentistry by good honest, friendly people! Seriously, love your smile!

I have been a patient at Delany Dental for over 15 yrs. When I came to Dr. Shapira I was in very bad TMJ pain. He and his staff worked with me for hours and when I left that day the pain was gone. I continued treatment until my bite was fully corrected and not only that but thanks to Dr Shapiras talent in cosmetic dentistry, my teeth look more beautiful then they ever have. Dr Shapira and the staff continue to gain education on the most innovative ways to help people look and feel good. I saw Dr Shapira for TMJ problems and chronic Migraines. I wore a plastic appliance for several months. All of my issues with jaw locking and clicking resolved as did my daily headaches and chronic migraines. I no longer have dark circles under my eyes either. I could not afford a full mouth reconstruction but have been wearing a permanent appliance for several years on my bottom teeth..Expensive but worth it. I did have 10 veneers done and now have killer smile, partially because I am no longer in chronic pain.

Dr. Shapira and his staff are the best!. Ive suffered with headaches and jaw pain for over 30 years and finally have relief. Dr. Shapira knows what he is talking about and can be trusted to do whats best for you. Kudos to the office staff as well. Ive never been to a medical or dental office where the staff is so nice and helpful.
