I am a new patient with fchc, called to make appt with a dr. .Was given on of the most god awful drs there is very rude speaking to patient, not helpful, will not listen to your concerns, had to go to emergency room for pain and to be diagnosed...... Called back to fchc to switch dr.s was given one of the most helpful,caring and concerning dr.... So I was ok with her..... After about a month took a fall went in for care on 02/17/15 was told I needed an MRI. I was given a referral 02/17/15 was told my healthcare provider had to approve it fchc told me they fax it over to them I called my HC/provider 02/26/15 to see if MRI was approved was told never received a referral from fchc.....finally recd referral 02/26/15 after several phone calls.. took MRI 03/16/15 was told your dr will have results tomorrow called fchc not recd results ... why... wrong fax number for fchc on referral form they gave me...again after several phone calls results finally recd at fchc 03/17/15 and as of today 03/20/15 cant get the dr. to read results to give to me. Seen dr. on 02/17/15 and and of 03/20/15 dont know what is wrong with my arm from the fall I call every day one excuse after another why dr has not been able to read my MRI I ask is she the only dr you can ask to read was told yes ( so that means one dr does not help the other ????) family christian center i hope you read these reviews .......this is why your rating is only a half star that is only for answering the phone aside from that you are a waste to the community with this type of service.............................

My care experience was horrible. I called an was told that the facility was accepting walk ins after 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:20pm. The receptionist was very pleasant and the office was clean. She informed me that I could not be seen until 5:00pm and proceeded to fill out an appointment card. I am a self pay. I finally got in to see the doctor at 5:47pm. After explaining to her that this was a lingering problem that has gotten worse, coughing up thick green mucous and feeling like I am drowning when I lay down she decided to take a swan culture of my throat to check for Strep. The culture turned out negative. Her medical advice was to go home, rest for three days and drink plenty of warm liquids. THE PROBLEM BEGAN THREE MONTHS AGO!!!! I had medical treatment before it progressed to this stage. This morning I went across state lines to an urgent care center where they took chest x-rays diagnosing me with pneumonia a life threatening condition. I am furious! I received better care and service from the nurse (LCNP) at Walgreens than from the M.D. I personally would not recommend based on my experience.

Ive been going here for 10 years now. Despite what people have to say about wait times being too long and other minor issues, my over all experience here has been phenomenal!!! Ive had 3 children here with Dr. Horn, Dr. Ballard, Dr. Cook, Dr. Sewell and my awesome primary Dr. Stewart.! Ive had to wait some days but it was all worth the wait. FCHC has taken great care of me and my family from the great staff to the doctors. I can call The Triage department when people I know need answers and do not have the same resources that I have. I am so grateful for this facility, my family and I are truly blessed!!

Wait times are horrible, they never answer phones, and when my daughter broke her arm they never got back to me to schedule her appointment they always would give me a month ahead appointment.. they are overbooked all the time.. and there walk in clinic takes for ever to get checked at and they cant do much but refer you to the patients doctor again there are never appointment available immediately always weeks or month after the fact...

This office is over whelmed with patients, I have left 2 message,before 5;00 with my sons office and 7,an 9 pm calls to after care and I have not heard from them yet it 10:25. This is my first nor second time that the quaily of care and communication has been compromised. Im going to take my health , my son health and my husbands health some where else. Sad I feel sorry for the people who have no choice but to go here

Very unprofessional!! My child had a mental health crisis and was in need of counseling ASAP. We seen Yvette Johnson and she referred us to Igalls which wouldnt take our insurance called her multiple times left multiple messages for help on what the next steps would be NOT ONE RETURNED CALL!!!!! Thanks for the help!

Inside this place i have a had the worst experience the only thing i needed was a physical for school. I went there 3 times and they could not do it or they did not even care. The person at the front desk at suite E does not even care about anything I would ask.

Very upset with my visit today. I left work early so I could be seen by a doctor thats works in the todays care department which does not close until 3pm on Saturdays. I arrived at 2pm and I was told I was not able to be seen! Absolutely lost for words.

The wait times are a mess, but I love the staff that works with Dr. Dixon. She is a wonderful doctor who when I address my concerns listen. Its a clinic, so wait times are bad, but the staff that I have encountered are well trained.

Some doctors are good and some dont know what they talking about the workers are very rude, they have you on hold for a very long time its just a ghetto hot mess but look where it is located in Harvey Illinois

Dr. Bockwoldt, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Barnes were a massive help of me getting my life back together. And yes, the wait is long, but its well worth it. I hope the center remain in Harvey for many years to come
