As a fairly new patient, after not seeing the Dentist for way too long, I was very happy to start getting all my health issues in order. I have never experienced a better, more friendly staff, and environment at a Dentist office. But what I have to say now is a game changer ! After my second cleaning, we started to notice something was not right with my Tongue. After salt water treatment and filing down a couple teeth, I returned with no progress. After another through review, I was referred to a Oral Surgeon here in town. Upon arriving at his office we decided to do a Biopsy on my tongue, It came back positive for CANCER !! Thank God For the people here !! You just never know the whens and hows, but the good news with this is my Cancer surgery went well , and my Doctors at Rush feel strongly that I will make a speedy recovery. So just a another trip to the dentist ? I think not :)

I previously went to Dr. Nelson and Dr. Durrett took over when he retired. He is as caring, professional and effective as Dr. Nelson. I have always HATED going to the dentist.....both these dentists have always treated me with special care and helped me change my mind about the dentist! The office staff is helpful and GREAT!! Even though Mary lectures me about cleaning my gums every time I see her, she is the BEST!!! I would recommend this practice to everyone!!!! I always get compliments on my teeth!!!

Dr. Nelson was the dentist when we started. He brought in Dr. Durrett and it was even greater! The transition was very smooth and we have been very happy( if a person can ever be happy going to the Dentist!) with the "family." They are all always upbeat, smiling, happy to see us, and make us feel well cared for whenever we go in. The hygienists take interest in our children and make them feel special as well.
