My first visit ever to this office was on Thursday 13th 2014. Until then I was foolishly going to the BIG C big Box place. Dr Pouyat , Samantha and his staff were beyond awesome ... it was a perfect and relaxed consultation and I was given all the time I need to ask questions. Also this is a modern office with modern technology and my records will be rationed unlike certain other offices. I am a patient /client here and not just a "walk in: plus you have 24 hour energy contact details in case same required. Easy location also and easy parking. Totally stress free with greatest care given. MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS ...if you are looking for eye care it is my unbiased view that you need not look any more that Lake Zurich Eye Care as it is just perfect. I never write these reviews but have taken the time to so do in this instance as I was so impressed.

3 years ago, I visited Lake Zurich Eye Care, to get a new pair of glasses. The staff was very helpful and Dr. Pouyat was great. I really liked the frames and the glasses were fit perfectly. I noticed a major improvement in my vision, and believe it was due to Dr. Pouyat and his very professional staff. Due to a change in my insurance plan, I was forced to visit another vision provider(Sears). I liked the frames, but due to the quality of the lenses, I was not pleased with with the outcome. My vision seemed to be limited and was constantly positioning my head to see correctly. My insurance got changed once again, and this time I was able to re-visit Lake Zurich Eye Care. Again, I was thoroughly pleased with the doctor and his staff, and would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Pouyat and the staff at Lake Zurich Eyecare are wonderful! I drive all the way from South Elgin for services. Everyone there is so helpful and friendly and it doesnt have that "clinical" office feel. Its also nice that they send you your paperwork digitally to fill out prior to your appointment so they can take you in right when you get there. The only problem is that they do not have a huge selection of frames to choose from, Im guessing because they office is pretty small. On the plus side, they did show me additional styles that they ordered samples of which was really nice; although I do have to make an additional trip to the office. But the additional trip is worth it for the great service.

Beware. Twice they charged me more than I was told initially. After 3 visits and initially being assured that insurance would cover my visits, I was told my insurance would not cover my dry eye visit. Not happy to owe them a couple hundred dollars! The next time my daughters glasses broke and were still under warranty. I was told when we ordered the new pair that I would need to pay $20 for shipping and handling. When I picked up the glasses was told it was twice that because they had to send it to two separate places for lenses. Even though they acknowledged they misquoted me, they still charged me $40.

Dr. Pouyat is excellent! Ive worn contacts for 20 years now, and after about 15 years, my prescription started to change - I went to 4 other eye doctors before Dr. Pouyat, who all gave me too strong of a prescription, which led to headaches. Not only that, but they couldnt get me into a pair of glasses that I saw clearly out of. Ive been seeing Dr. Pouyat for the past 5 years, and am happy to say that I see clearly out of both contacts and glasses. I like that his office calls in advance to set up yearly appointments, and I like how quickly they get new order of contacts in. I highly recommend them. :)

I have been with this office for many years! I believe they give the best service around! Dr. Pouyat has always been great and his office staff very friendly. I am know seeing Dr. Oliver because I have dry eye and she is absolutely the best, spends time explaining what I should be doing and not doing. Overall if you are looking for an excellent eye facility this is it. Also Ferdinand always greats you when he is there and even by name most of the time. Thank you for all you do.

The office is very convenient (location) and they see patients in a timely manner - no horrendous waits. Appointments are easy to get. Dr. Pouyat is very good. Explains things well. Took my kids last week - he evaluated them well and provided recommendations that were practical. Asked good questions about how they are seeing in school etc. I have used the office for 3 years with good consistent service.

Ive worn glasses/contacts for over 50 years. I get the best service and feel the best cared for at Lake Zurich Eye Care over all the eye doctors offices I have visited in all those years. In addition, I have been out of work for the last 3 years and have no insurance. This office has been understanding and has worked with me on payments which I greatly appreciate.

Good office hours with great, friendly staff. Received a very thorough exam, had good selection of frames to choose from, and solid help with navigating selections with consideration given to best options for insurance plan. Everyone at this office took their time to explain details and procedures. Highly recommend this office.

Dr. Pouyat and the staff at Lake Zurich Eyecare are amazing. Dr. Pouyat is professional and personable. The office staff are efficient and friendly. The office is conveniently located and welcoming. My husband and I moved 2 years ago and both drive about an hour to continue seeing Dr. Pouyat. Lake Zurich Eyecare is fantastic!

A bit expensive, but the quality of the frames and lenses is excellent. The service is also excellent and Dr. Pouyat is the best. The only thing that didnt make me very happy is that it is very hard to get an appointment with the optometrist right the way. My husband and I had to schedule our appointments a few weeks in advance.
