“Wonderful & Caring Veterinary” – I was referred to Critter Care from my groomer Haley from K-9 Cuts in Plano in Aug ’10 when our Cocker Spaniel “Abbey” injured her rear leg. We already belonged to Banfield Pet Hospital thru PetsMart and first had her examined there but were not satisfied with their treatment of having her on pain pills for several weeks. I made the decision to take her to Critter Care for a 2nd opinion of which I was very comforted with the care that Dr. Peterson displayed during my visit. Abbey tore her ACL and underwent surgery. The staff was amazing in keeping me updated with her progress following surgery and her aftercare visits. Critter Care is located in a rural area of Plano in such a setting that is very welcoming and comforting. I would highly recommend anyone with loving pets to make a visit…. At the moment, Abbey tore her other ACL and will be having her 2nd surgery with Dr. Peterson. I have the utmost confidence in her care and treatment during this procedure. $300+ for VERY vague diagnosis that included the word CANCER. 2 days later went to low cost clinic for nail clipping and vet said common lump, no worries, gone in 8 weeks. 8 weeks later lump gone.
