My son was taken there by ambulance for hallucinations and they did blood work and nothing else! I have a genetic disease that causes brain aneurysms and I asked for them to do a cat scan and/or MRI and she refused and said they were going to send a counselor in to talk with us because his blood work came back normal. I would not take my child back to this hospital if he were dieing we would use the other hospital! So now we are headed to another hospital where the doctor might actually act like one!!!!

I had the great fortune to be treated in their ER on 31 July. The entire staff was awesome. I was in a lot of pain and in severe shape. In fact, my family and I were returning from a vacation and were 1/2 home, when my wife called for an ambulance. The nurses and staff acted quickly and their ER Doctor was amazing. They stabilized my pain and prepared me for transport for emergency surgery at OSF. They kept me informed and saved my life. May God Bless the wonderful staff at St. James.

My husband is being charged thousands of dollars for a MRI to investigate the cause of his head shakes and, even with specific clarification and demonstration, it was evaluated for headaches. Worthless data.
