I am so appreciative of this clinic! My two cats go there for their check-ups along with boarding and its always been a pleasant experience with no issues! I have a kitty with a chronic illness and the management techniques had always been hit and miss in the past. When we went to Dr. Colgan, she made a new recommendation that has been working extremely well for our cat - it was the first time anyone recommended it. Dr. Colgan is very thorough and had never asked us to repeat a treatment weve already tried - weve tried many, after seeing at least 5 doctors in the past for our cat. Further, their boarding facilities are top-notch and the animals receive a lot of attention and care, so you dont have to worry about them missing you or something going awry without anyone noticing. The staff is super friendly and ready to help. The rates are definitely acceptable for the quality your pet receives. The best place to go!

Worst business practices ever. Quoted on the phone 40 dollars to groom and 20 for a bordatella vaccine (btw most facilities dont require this but ok) But wait, theres a 30 dollar exam fee too. Shouldve left here. Maybe its worth it. Dr. Colgan calls and says the dogs ear wax appears strange and wants to run tests. Another 30 dollars. Ok let me know what you find. Another call to tell me she treated her for an ear infection. This was another charge but apparently signing paperwork for permission prior to treatments only applies to humans. So in a nutshell, a qoute of $60 give or take means give or take $100 for a grand total of 160 dollars to groom a 10 pound dog. Also, the price quote to spay or neuter animals at this place ranges from $384 to $549. This is central Illinois not Hollywood. The humane society does it for about $30. Terrible. The groomer was friendly and did a good job though.

I have a small dog that was a rescue animal. She is extremely bonded to me and very anxious in a clinical setting having been a shelter dog. The staff realized this and let me stay with the dog during her exam and nail trims. This made for a much more relaxed and less stressful experience for my dog. They even let my dog remain sitting on my lap during the initial part of the exam. In the past, at a different clinic, my dog was taken from me into a different room. I could hear her crying and yelping. This was stressful for myself and my dog. The staff at this clinic care about the welfare of both the owners and primarily, the pets. The prices for services seem slightly higher but the quality and personal attention out weigh the extra cost.

Love, love, love this clinic! Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Ive brought all of my animals there in the last few months and they are very considerate of my animals who tend to be a little more stressed out when not in their home setting but thankfully they all practice "low stress handling" which made all of our experiences there much better than clinics Ive been to in the past. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new clinic. They also have great boarding facilities for both cats and dogs (separate rooms for both) the "cat condos" are awesome! My cat felt right at home. The dogs also have a great outdoor space for them to run and play. Check them out! You wont regret it!

Everything about this place is awesome. We have a rescue dog with an unpredictable personality at times. They are patient and kind with him. The groomer, Jim, is understanding and does an excellent job. The staff really seem to love our dog and our two cats. I believe the feelings are genuine. When we had to take our animals to board, the experience was so much less anxiety provoking for everyone. The veterinarian is also very thorough and knowledgeable. Cant say enough about this group of talented, compassionate professionals.

I adopted a dog, Ryder, last summer and am so thankful that I chose to take him to Loving Paws. All of the staff is so caring about Ryder and give him the best care possible. Ryder was abandoned and has formed a strong bond with me, having some separation anxiety when I am gone. However, when I needed to be gone overnight and took him to Loving Paws, the staff was so good with him that there wasnt any problem. If you are looking for a new vet clinic or boarding for your dog or cat, I highly recommend Loving Paws Pet Clinic.

If possible, I would give Loving Paws 10 stars!!! My dog Riley has been a patient there since shortly after the clinic opening. Riley is groomed on a regular schedule by Jim. Jim is just the very best!!!! A very special thanks to Dr. Colgan, Erin and Georgia for being such a huge help with the adoption process of my new kitty, Taylor!! Their advice on introducing a kitty to a dog, nail trimming, etc. was so helpful! I am very pleased with all of the services my "babies" have received through Loving Paws!

Ive known Dr. Ellen Kuchenbrod for several years and was excited when she opened this clinic as an option for health care of our dog as well as boarding. We used the facility early on for boarding our dog over the weekend. It was plain to see from the discussions that we had with the staff both before and after using their services that they cared about our dog and how she was doing. I recommend them highly.

The vets and staff here really care about your pets! This clinic is also very cat friendly- with separate exam rooms and waiting areas that separate dogs from cats. Loving Paws has high end diagnostic equipment but is also knowledgeable about alternative treatments such as laser therapy, bach flower essences, and nutritional supplements.

I have a difficult to deal with cat- not friendly with strangers. It is clear the staff really care about the pets and do everything they can to make the it less stressful- including separate areas so the cats and dogs dont have to mix. Much better than having dogs walking right in front of your cat carrier.
