AVOID at ALL COSTS!!! Doctors at WomanCare PC perform and charge for tests and labs WITHOUT DISCUSSING W/ THEIR PATIENTS FIRST!!! I saw Dr. Claudine Kasinak ONCE - I was seeking out a second opinion for treatment of a recurring Bartholins abscess. By this time I was desperate and calling around to find an OBGYN familiar with Bartholins and who could help me get rid of this problem. I called WomanCare PC and asked if any of the doctors were familiar with Bartholins abscesses and cysts. I was told Dr. Kasinak was, so I made an appointment with her. The day I saw Dr. K., I told her about my problem with the Bartholins abscesses, and explained I had an abscess on one side. She reviewed the records I brought from my previous OBGYN and examined me. She told me she could not find any abscess which indicated to me that she didnt even know where the Bartholins ducts were located! I am NOT a medical professional nor an OBGYN, but even I understand the female anatomy and I dont see how any woman (much less a supposedly trained OBGYN) would NOT see a swollen lump distorting the vaginal area. Dr. K said she wanted to do a Pap smear, which was fine. She never said anything else about other tests, etc. She did the Pap, and then basically told me she would let me know what that showed, but she didnt see any other problems. I was in tears at this point - I said I was in pain and discomfort and brought up how I.d heard the Bartholins gland could be removed. She said if I had further problems I could come back in, but she didnt see anything that was wrong. The biggest problem came months later when I received a billing statement from WomanCare PC. It was for a balance and stated "patient exceeded age limit for service." I called both my insurance company and WomanCare PC for an explanation - since a Pap smear is something that should be done annually, how could there be an age limit??? Thats when I learned that WomanCare PC performed an HPV test AND an STD test on me WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. Dr. Kasinak never even brought up testing me for cervical cancer or STDs. I spoke to their billing department, and explained the above: that I was never told - nor asked - about an HPV or STD test. They were extremely snotty with me and told me - and I quote - that "the doctor can perform any test they deem medically necessary." So it doesnt matter that I dont want the test? It doesnt matter that I had an STD test 6 months prior and my lifestyle hadnt changed? It doesnt matter that a Bartholins abscess isnt caused by an STD or cancer cells/HPV??? I spoke with a manager and received the same run-around. She ended up telling me to write a letter to the doctor, so thats what I did. I wrote a letter to Dr. Kasinak, explaining that I consented only to the Pap smear and was not made aware of - nor did I consent to - the other tests she performed without my knowledge. I asked that the charges be dismissed and asked for a response. I did not receive a response, but I did receive more billing statements and threats to send my bill to collections. I called the office again to receive a response, when I was told that they could not put me through to Dr. Kasinaks voicemail and that Dr. Kasinak would not respond to me directly. I was encouraged to write another letter, and this time to send it Certified Mail. I did and included my first letter as an enclosure. Again, I did not receive a response, but continued to received more billing statements. Thats when I contacted the BBB (shame on me for not checking their BBB rating BEFORE I made an appointment - they have TWO strikes against them for billing practices!) WomanCare PC responded to the BBB complaint only once (after ignoring several 1st and 2nd attempts), to say that "the CDC does not recommend asking patients for consent for STD tests." I dont care what the CDC recommends! How about having a conversation with your patients?! Save yourself the trouble Ive dealt with and AVOID WomanCare PC and Dr. Kasinak!!!

I have been a patient here for 9 years. I have hopped around from one doctor to the next because their turn over is high, but I finally settled with Dr. Cucco. I wasnt a fan but he is the owner, so he doesnt up and leave. Since my time there, I have always known this doctors office to have rude front desk staff, but I have dismissed it as I go there for the doctors, not the woman up front. I was put off by the fact while Im having my lady parts probed, the doctor is trying to sell me on their spa.... this is a doctors appointment, not a sales pitch. That should have been my first red flag. But then it turns out that they are crooks. When I told my family and friends about this, they all said they have experienced this same thing from this office. I had mentioned an issue I was having and Dr. Cucco (the owner or "CEO") suggested I get a blood test done. I asked to have just that specific blood test done and no other because I have heard they are known for tacking things on without you knowing and unnecessarily inflating the bill. Despite emphasizing I do not want any other test done, I get an extremely inflated bill (even after insurance coverage). I contacted my insurance company and discovered it is because despite my request not to do any other test, they ordered 8 other blood tests in addition to the one I said specifically was the only one I wanted. When I tried to dispute they were not helpful or friendly, and pretty much blew me off. Final red flag, after having been a patient there for entirely too long... they cant keep doctors on staff for more than a few years. I find one I like and then all of a sudden they leave to go to another practice. Same with the nurses and medical assistants. I dont know what happens behind scenes, but maybe the staff feel the same way I do about their practice. Just dont be fooled by the pretty office and spa like setting... youre paying for it.

Last couple appointments nothing but stress and added only more stress by changing doctors within their own group from Dr. Parra to Dr. Keith. She is no where close to what their mission statement says: Our first responsibility is to our patients! Seriously????? We create an environment of trust, credibility, uncompromising integrity, dignity and respect.????? I learned a new thing from my last couple visits to her that she makes her patient to call it in a prescription for themselves and her staff enforce it so heavily as last both times they forget to order my prescription and meds and still scheduled and confirmed appointment. 1st thing I got there they asked me if I brought in my prescription and I was like NO, I never do. You guys order it in and it gets delivered straight to you since last 5 months. Ive never called in a pharmacy nor they spoke to me. They pour the whole blame on me saying its your fault that I didnt order my prescription and they cant help me. How irresponsible nurses staff as well as the doctor who even refused talking to me after all their mistakes. When I asked the nurse that okay atleast give me the pharmacy number and lets see if they would take my order by phone if I call it in as being a patient and she even refused to provide the pharmacy number which they used all this time to order my prescription. How on earth a patient would know what to say or codes to call it in for their own prescription and if they want patient to do all these why do we need them??? Not only they wasted my valuable time again but doctor showed no courtesy in calling and apologizing on behalf of them being negligent and top of that had to deal with their rudeness.
