I have suffered with T.M.J. for a long time. My former dentist,14yrs ago, made me a upper night guard. Besides the night guard being extremely uncomfortable to wear at night, it was also making my pain and discomfort worse from wearing it since I had an undiagnosed T.M.J.D. When I stumbled upon Dr.Alexander Grabavoys TMJ Pain and Treatment Center, I was experiencing constant headaches in my temples and back of my neck, stiff necks 3xs a week, horrible facial pain and joint pain, closed lock,and dizziness. The initial appointment was so incredible I knew I was in the right place. Dr.Grabavoy and staff are very knowledgable about the disorder of the joint,(T.M.J.D.)friendly, kind and compassionate. I went through the treatment(splint) for my displaced joint for 12months(6-12month treatment) I have been treated and am now in a night guard. I have not experienced any of the horrible pain that i had once had long ago!!! I see Dr.Grabavoy annually to follow up on my night guard and T.M.J. I was so pleased with my treatment and atmosphere of the office that I decided to stay here for all my dental work as well!! Sue the hygenist is great and very informative!! The front end is great handling insurance and getting me in for my appointments. The dental assistants are very sweet and sincere. Drs associate, Dr. Salman always makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed with any and all procedures I have done!!! I am pain free and have continued to stay that way for 3yrs!!! Thank you Dr. Grabavoy for getting me out of pain and continuing to follow up on my T.M.J.

Would NEVER recommend this doctor!! Orders expensive MRI imaging of TMJ that was not medically necessary and cost me over $4,000 out of pocket. Thank God I got a second opinion before I started my daughters treatment (another $6,000) that another TMJ specialist said was no longer indicated. Jaw rest, motrin and heat have helped tremendously- nearly free treatment! Julie Polhill

This dentist gave me my life back. I had tremendous pain in the back of my head, couldnt chew, neck locked up, could barely even use my arms. He helped my jaw go back in place and gave me my life back! Most caring and kind doctor and staff I have ever met!
